I think Hull had a rumour going which was similar. Problem is Robbie Fowler played for Cardiff a few years ago and wasn't good at all. I don't think he's good enough for championship level any more. He was just too slow and that meant he couldnt get into decent positions (which was his strength at Liverpool). Since then he's gone on to play in Mickey Mouse leagues and just got older.

Saying all that, he may have improved his fitness or something and I still wish him all the best, as he was a great talent.

I've not seen him play for a while, but I would think Blackpool with their attacking style of play would be a good club for a comeback. After all its done wonders for Kevin Philips another player who it looked like it was all over after Birmingham dropped him.

  5. What I'd give to have a 1993-97 Robbie Fowler (Steve McManaman too) in this current Liverpool team. With the number of chances we have been creating, he'd have bagged over twenty-five goals already this season!!!

All the best to Robbie and Blackpool, hope it works out.

Just read this and its made my day!

Not sure if he can still deliver but I hope he does.

We need to get him on our books asap. He's done a bit of coaching, lets groom for potential future manager.

Maybe. I'm not convinced Gerrard is managerial material.

    Carragher definately most likely.

  10. I actually agree with that but he seems to want to go in that angle, I was thinking more of Carragher as manager and Fowler and Gerrard in coaching / support roles

Yeah true it could work in some capacity.

Would be great if one or more could be our future manager!
