Seeing he was in London buying a house the press seemed to conect him with Chelsea again but could it be he has been approached by the FA to take over for the European Championship ? Would prefer him to Arry even though he is not English ,his love for our game is unquestioned
I think he'll go back to chelsea or to spurs, didn't he say a few months back that he dosn't want to manage a international team. He said he will when he is a little older.
Yeah I can't see why he'd want to manage England. Maybe it's not job-related and he just thought it was a good time to buy a house in London, I'm sure he can afford it!
I can only see Mourinho taking the England job if the FA offered him a massive wage. With the embarrassment of the Capello saga, I really can't see the FA wanting to go down a similar route again.
Mourinho is so far up his own arse he could wear himself as a hat. That said, I'm a huge fan. He's going to Spurs once he's won La Liga and 'Arry takes on England. Spurs under Mourinho; they won't be 50/1 for the title next year!
No we wouldn't. He'd still have the same mediocre pool of players to choose from: No decent strikers No game-changing midfielders No settled back four A decent keeper is our only plus point as far as I can see.
We won't win a tournemount for a hell of a long time purely down to not having a good enough youth structure in this country, go look at Germany's squad then there u21's and so on. Compare them to ours we are miles away from being able to compete. Until the fa have completely resutructred the youth training instead of looking for a new manager it dosen't matter who's in charge
Wayne Rooney after the first two games?? He's the best striker in the world IMO. I want Redknapp to get the job but if it went to a foreigner Mourinho would be the only one I'd take - he's practically English now anyway!
We would,he would set out a game plan and if the players implemented this tactics on the pitch we'd win it,just like Greece did in 04.
Greece and Denmark have won the euro's before, anyone can win it.I agree with everything else you said though.
2 friendlies to go before the Euro's and we've got about 30 fringe players and about 4 nailed on starters. Whereas other teams have had relatively settled teams for years and are just finalising their tactics. We've got no chance, and no-one with any ambition to manage in the premier league in the next ten years would gamble their professional reputation on such slim chances.
