    What does he actually offer? Certainly nothing that Parker doesn't do better.

    he's not good enough for england that's for sure, he offers nothing whatsoever, would struggle to get in sunderland's midfield imo

    You only notice Gareth Barry when he's not there
    His job is to protect the back 4 which he is extremely effective at,what exactly are you looking for him to do ?
    The back 4 were very exposed when he wasn't there,surely you noticed that?

    All I notice from Gareth Barry is that he was a better player at Villa.He is ****e though.

    Barry is one of the worst midfielders in the league. Milner is not much better either.

    Totally agree, I don't want any of our players in the England squad, even Hart. What Barry does for City is support and back up a number of more talented players, unfortunately the England team has none so I'm happy for Parker and Carrick to get on with it!

    So you reckon Milner is even worse?

    Parker is so much better at protecting the back four than Barry.

    Barry just floats around doing **** all.
