You really do need to up your self-image. It's not in keeping with the estate agents I know. They all think they're perfect. My older daughter doesn't hold estate agents in very high esteem. She described the one who sold the family home that I'd paid the mortgage on for 20 years as a "slimey bastard"
A quick history of the Ruffian; Born Eccles, moved to Clifton just down the road as an infant. Moved one mile away from Clifton to Kearsley when six to allow me and brother to go to the grammar school up the road that our mother went to (as did Alan Ball and Kenneth Wolstenholme. They think it's all over.....). Moved to Swansea for educational purposes and stayed. Because I loves it. Ta daaaah
Where about in Swansea? My dad got a job down Milford Haven oil refinery when I was about 7-8 so lived near Tenby until I left to join the RAF when I was 17. Swansea was the closest City...about 45 miles away. It was no wonder so many people down there supported Utd or Liverpool when the only football you got to watch was MOTD.
If you're going to change other people's posts, then at least spell the words you put in correctly SUAVE
I've lived all over the shop down here, from humble bedsit begginings to the lovely five bedroom pile I now own in Mumbles!!
I was seeing a girl from Mumbles when I was about 17, posh stuck up bitch...didn't last long. Nice area though.
With the houses, I hear they are expensive as **** on your side of the pond? Right down the way from me, I could get this ( a little more money needed and a bit down the road tbh). http://hotpads.com/search/city/KY/A...,corporate&loan=30,0.0525,0&resultsPerQuad=24 Part of it is the market being down but in Kentucky, houses aren't that expensive and you always have some land, with it as well.
Over here £200k would barely get you a house half that size. What is that in GBP? £140K? I thought most american houses were made out of timber and cardboard though?
That'll be a Mumbles girl. They think they **** chocolate. Yep, got to say it is very nice where I live. Even though I do say so myself. Took me a long way to keep upscaling to get here though but the surroundings make it worth it.
Ya, my roomate was looking through the houses in the area and was in awe of how much you could get for so little. I still think that is a lot but he says to get that sort of house it would be easy in the 300-400 range. Ya pretty much 140 pounds, sounds about right. you have the old houses which are more about the brick and then the newer ones that are more modern with the type of material used. Not sure what it is, but I do like an older style me. I just need to have a big front and back porch and a kitchen that I can do some serious damage with. Oh and a game room so the misses can watch her shows and I can scream at the TV
Look mate. If you want to big it up then no worries. I don't know how much you paid for it, but a four bed semi where I lived pre-divorce would set you back £5 - 6 hundred thousand.
