Mullins will be very hard to beat in that he has Hurricane Fly, Quevega and Scotsirish/Uncle Junior on the first day alone. Add in the likes of Sir Des Champs, Boston Bob, and the handicappers and he looks to have a very strong hand. I considered the 33/1 about Alan King purely because I thought it was far too big a price. Had the EW terms been available for a top 3 finish then I would probably have taken the chance but decided against it in the end.
Jeez, thats something the bookies on these shores should look at...!!! Though they would set it at £20 per day...!!! Robbing gits...!!!
Right that's me almost finished for the week at the old coalface. Have a good weekend one and all. Saturday promises to be a strange days racing though what with the richest contest being a National Hunt Flat race!
Have a spelndid weekend Sir Barney you do know it's only Thursday though? Mr Henderson's charge is being backed off the boards in the first at Ludlow - Call Back for me though
Well done Saludos backers. Think he had Shakervilz beat before the fall and both horse and jock look ok
Jump City at Taunton. Better ground will suit and has some good form before that. Flattered by 1/2 length defeat by Darlan but still decent form Nass lol
Talking of Mr Pipe, what about a small e/w dabble on his Weekend Millionair in the next at Taunton - 33/1 and wasn't disgraced on hurdle debut when still in the Evans yard
Odddy - cough handicap horse. Will be held up or go off like Sun Des Mottes 100 lengths in front at the 2nd hurdle
