Well i tweeted to him the other day saying
He gives international defenders the run around week in week out and often comes off better. Him up front with Ashley Young supplying him and Daniel Sturridge along side him= AMAZING!!!

It seems that players from 'small' clubs never get much of a look in, when it's clear they deserve a chance but hey ho players from the top 6/7 prem clubs only get the chance

i've noticed the price has gone up here quite considerably this week. What was 1.32 a litre last week is suddenly 1.36! Hmmpfh! And i still can't put my prices up to compensate :(

Oh yes, buying walking shoes is a nightmare! I remember that from last year, and even after all that, i ended up with 11 blisters on the big walk, which was weird coz i'd walked 20 miles for the previous few fridays and hadn't got one! lol. Your car sounds lovely, wanna do mine? ;)

Yes please, am i too late?

Absolutely, which won't do much for clubs like ours, coz all the academy kids will want to get to the big clubs earlier, to have a chance of playing for their country :(

just finished watching the match...oh dear...hmmpfh.

Still not sure why Scott Parker was captain. I don't get it. If Stuart Pearce is just caretaker manager, surely Gerrard should have been given the armband, or...if he wanted to shake things up, he could have given it to Jones, who is so obviously a captain of the future. Time to experiment, to to stick with what he's inherited for just one game...unless he thinks he's getting the England job for the Euros...otherwise i can't see why he would have put Parker in...not to say he doesn't work hard, or lead, or motivate, but for one match? I just don't get it...

Morning All, Bright and sunny already and the promise of 20C this afternoon. ;)

Today is the day that our daughter and family move into their new house out here as well as one of the grand children having her 7th birthday. The removal men sent a text at 8.00am to say that they had been at the house for an hour. Seeing as the keys could not be collected until 9.00am they just had to wait. I have to put in an appearence later with the new cooker that is rattling in the back of my car. There was me wondering if I could get away with a smaller car, but glad that I still have the estate when it comes to moving things around.

So it looks as if it will be another busy day. Tomorrow the family could decamp from here and peace will return to Chez OFH.

Morning all from a misty West West London...a bit delicate this morning after a night out celebrating an old work mates 60th birthday, I have worked with him for nearly 30 years!

I wonder how long I can survive in madness today - I have already had a row with the boss!

Ak, I am happy with a draw, Scotland got a positive result the only nation to do so;)

Morning all, a very foggy start to the day:( Been out for a nice long walk already;) Going back out to look for walking boots / trainers today for my holidays, which are just over a week away<party>

Morning all. I was woken up quite rudely this morning by mum. She had apparently been trying to set the water clock for 20mins and could not do it. Its very simple, the instructions are set out in plain English and pictures to help too. So i got up, went and sorted it within 5mins. They would be lost if i went away for a week and the thing went off. Im the only one who can do it.

Im not too disappointed with the result. We were very unlucky with the third goal. It took a massive deflection. The one thing i do worry about is that we allowed Robben the space to run into. Its very similar to what we do at Watford, our right/left backs like to back off and often leave them out wide till they actually have the ball, and by then they are running at us.

Morning all, thanks for the caramel latte Ak :)

Take it easy tomorrow M Frenchie! You'll need a rest. Hope it all goes well today :)

Oh dear w_y, a day to lay low perhaps? ;)

lol..well done Scotland, eh Al :). Good for you on the walk, i'm seriously thinking i'm going to have to start to do something, otherwise my body will turn to mush! I just need some motivation to get moving...and someone to walk with this time would be nice..it was so boring on my own last year but i had a purpose so i did it..this year, with nothing to walk for, (except my health!) i can't be bothered! Good luck with the shoe hunt today!

lol Dan, you'll have to write it out more simply for her!
Funny that, i said it was decidedly Watfordesque last night too!

I think i finally have Miss H's computer fixed. I have a service contract for all the pcs and the guys who run the company are amazing. They have incredible patience, which is just as well, coz yesterday i spent 2 and a half hours with one of them while he tried to get her back online. She keeps losing the internet. It was all working fine yesterday afternoon, and yesterday evening it had gone again, so i've just been on the phone to him, and after weeks of trying to figure it out on my own, and the time spent yesterday and an hour on Tuesday when they came round to clean all the pcs up and to get hers working again (which it did for a few hours)..this morning...i rebooted the router, and hey presto! I can't believe it was that simple in the end! lol...hey ho...!

Hehe. The annoying thing is, i cant put it any more simply. It says "Press programme until display shows figure 3, press day to select day, press time on/off to select hour, set, press time on/off to select minute, set, programme until figure 1 to set."

Thats to set the time on it. How she cannot understand that i have no idea. My 10yr old brother could do it!!!

Great minds think alike lol H. Even in the come backs of late lol.

If I lived closer I would gladly accompany you on a walk H;) as for the shoes I have purchased a pair of soft shell, waterproof trainer like shoes for my walking. Hopefully these will do the job;)

Al, they're not Berghaus ones are they? I've got a pair of those and they've done me very well over the few months that I've had them - the big test will come in June.
