This poor ****s life was ****ed and the outcome was forgivable unlike some rich famous selfish **** of a footballer. Wonder if they'll be a minutes silence at St James Park for a real tragedy?

Thank you for the compliment, but.... I don't think that your original suggestion that losing his wife & marriage was in any way ' positive ' enough to outweigh the loss of his sight and job ! If you're going to be properly insensitive then my reply would have added more insult to injury ( pun intended )
