Morning - Watched a bit of the England game, didn't mind that we lost, I had a fear that we might win 4-0 and the FA would decide to keep Pearce in charge.
We played well regardless of the scoreline I always say I am not going to bother with England but if its on I always end up watching it.

Morning all, Daydream Believer's my fave, cheer up Peter Reid & all that! England outclassed just as they were against France. Surprised I actually watched it as I've no interest in Internationals. Don't think Mills will be coming, & I don't think that's a bad thing. Yes he'd improve our defence but having one player earning five times more than the others wouldn't be great for team morale, even if Leicester pay his wages. Plus the fact we couldn't afford to sign him on a permanent for next season, unless in the unlikely event we get promoted, & even then he probably wouldn't want to take a drop on his reported £55k a week wages. Looking forward to the Saints game though.
No one at the club is on 55K a week. Matt Mills is on around 25-30K a week. We turned down signing Yakubu on a permanent deal because we wouldnt pay him 40K a week so we are hardly going to pay Mills 55K
England just dissapoint me now when I watch em. So now I only watch there competitive games, although that is when they are most dissapointing
