    Agree Syd. Heartbreaking for anyone who has a family. I can't and don't want to imagine the torment this poor bloke has been through in the last year or so.

    Hopefully he has found some peace at last and my thoughts go out to his kids.

    Sadly syd there is an small portion of society these days who have respect for nothing or nobody. At the time Moat shot himself site popped up with people hero worshipping him. Even remember idiots coming on the tv saying what a great man he was? The bloke was a thug and a bully, evil and vile.

    PC Rathband simply did nothing but his job. Imagine being shot at just for the job you do? Horrific.
    Hope the poor bloke finds some peace and my thoughts are with his family.

    Sad news indeed. None of us can begin to know what he and his family went through. I hope he is now at peace and his wife and children can get over this and move on without blaming themselves. They should know that all right minded people recognise there is only one person responsible; the violent coward who shot himself rather than face the consequences of his vile behaviour. I won't even write his name.

    Can't believe what was posted earlier - sick, pathetic excuse for a hateful human being. Moat was a thug and a murderer, and now he has another victim. My thoughts are with Mr Rathbone's family and friends at this sad time.
