Looks like today's the day the axe falls on some player's Rangers careers. The Daily Record says 11 players to go. The Scottish Sun says six. The DR has been the more on the ball of the two 'newspapers' lately so 11 seems most likely. David Healy is a definite if rumours surrounding his contract are to be believed. Other likely candidates include Lee McCullouch, Sasa Papac and Sone Aluko, which would be a real blow for the fans. The axe is unlikely to include players such as McGregor, Davis and Whittaker who are on long term contracts and could raise valuable revenue if sold in the summer. Of those who remain, they will be asked to take a pay cut of up to 50 per cent.
go go yellow screen works at rangers does he? McCulloch will play for free and aluko wont go anywhere
Kayal is on the way back for Celtic Expect McCulloch to get an offer as a bin man in Russia before the next derby game <runaway>
Rangers fans have been pretending everything is fine , today is the day it's going to hit them their club is in all sorts of trouble .All these years they've thought they were above the law , well it's pay back day today . No sorrow from me
Least we can fill our stadium !! 4000 tickets left , maybe the players sacked today might buy one, seeing they will have nothing to do on Saturday
4000? who gave you that figure? it'll be a sell out. 7000 empty at snake mountain when things have never been better? Hmmmm
Who gives a ****? Maybe if you'd filled your stadium more often you wouldn't be in such a mess. 17,000 v Dundee Utd when your club needed you most? Pish.
