So what could be bigger than a Carling Cup Final? Well in terms of the promotion race, our live on TV fixture against 2nd place West Ham, could be bigger. How will Malky pick the boys up after that gutting defeat at Wembley? Will we see the same incredible effort? Pray to god that Levein rests some of our Scottish players tonight! We need a win, only one in our last four games whilst the Hammers are unbeaten in four. It's a miracle we're still in the playoffs! And this is a good game for the Prediction League as well, the latest tables can be found here, courtesy of H http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/126172-Prediction-League-Tables Good Luck and C'mon City !
After Sunday, West Ham will hold no fear for Malky's boys but fatigue could play its part. I don't have a good feeling about this one but I'm sticking with a much needed 2-1 win for the Bluebirds. cheers Sheep btw, I've been doing a bit of tweaking to Thai's spreadsheet. I'll email it when I'm done
fixing it so I'm at the top Just automating both leagues so they update in real time as you enter the actual result. Will make it easier to post the tables rather than cherry picking through the whole list (way too much time on my hands)
I really hate predicting a loss but I think the ammers will really be up for it, they will not want us to do the double over them. They will also want revenge for their home defeat and our guys will fade in the 2nd half after the exertions of last Sunday. An away win for the ammers Cardiff city 0 - 2 West Ham I will now slink away and hide in a black hole as punishment until I am proven wrong when I will come back rejoicing but suitably punished for not believing. Oh I wish my cup was half full this weekend...
i agree taff, you cant underestimate how much the final would have taken out of them. 3-1 hammers please sheep
OMG I so want to say a city win A) We need it with another tough away game at Brighton around the corner and just holding on to the play off place. B) If we can play like we did in the final this should be a walk in the park. C) Malky will have already picked the boys up and have them ready to go again. So why oh why cant I get it out of my head that this is a game too far and we might be in for a bit off a beating I so hope I am wrong but 4-1 Hammers plz Sheep.
I think Cardiff will still be on a crest of a wave after last week but by the end of the game they will be emotionally and physicaly drained so i am going for 2-2, but it would not surprise me if the ammers sneaked a last minute goal to win it 3-2. All the best , Brooking
