Afternoon all, sorry hopefully I'll get a chance to do the WPL league table update soon . I have been busy the last couple of days with training John Lewis branches on our barbecues. All finished now but plenty to catch up on as I've been away from my desk for a bit.
Afternoon all, had a busy day today, but yesterday I was like a zombie after 3 nights with limited sleep is not good for your body clock Went out today looking for a walking shoe/trainer, just how difficult a task is that! Anyway came back hand washed the car, a bit pointless when you live on a building site when the lorries go past your house from 8-5 But for now the car is nice and shiny, someone actually complimented the shine! When I bought the car I had it treated so when it is washed the shine really does come through
I am shattered, never knew speaking about bbq's for 4 hours could be so tiring!!! I'm treating myself to and one for PSH after his car cleaning success. Any other takers?
AserbaÃdsjan u21 - Ãsland u21 1:0 Island kv. - Ãýskaland kv.0:1 Not a good day for our football the u21 lost in Azerbaijan and the women lost to Germany. Half time for the senior team.
Svartfjallaland - Ãsland 2:1 Another game another defeat. Alfreð Finnbogason did equalise before an almost last minute defeat.
England were so unlucky tonight. What a wicked deflection for the winner. If Gary Megson gets sacked with Sheffield Weds 3rd in Lg1, who is safe?? Appalling decision!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17214703
Never a truer word Dan - absolutely appalling. It's little wonder that the game is becoming more and more of a laughable mess every day.
I would happily slap Milan Mandaric!! How can he say that the decision was in the interests of securing promotion?? How the ****ing hell are they going to get someone in and get him up to speed and the team up to speed and not suffer for it?!!?!!??!! Charlton have 1st sewn up so its a fight for the next 5 places between Sheff Utd Sheff Wed Huddersfield MK Dons Stevenage Notts County and Carlisle. Absolute Bullshit.
Still fuming about Danny's omission from the squad. Especially given that it was to make way for someone who has spent 17 of the last 18 months on the sidelines, before lucking his way into a team which was on a high without him. Ah well, it was a good watch as friendlies go. Cahill's goal was class.
I had this debate with someone the other day. He did not think he was ready yet. Until i explained that Danny is the highest scoring Englishman in the Premiership!!
And in the side that has created the second fewest chances (after Stoke). http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11662_2705370,00.html Are we disowning Rooney now? Don't have any problem with that, just asking...
Your point stands. As I've said on many occasions, Danny Graham is the only other quality English player who is remotely in Rooney's mould. Bearing in mind Rooney's absence or failure was a major factor in England's downfalls in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2010, being a like-for-like alternative should get Danny in the England squad almost by default.
