As above. Something must have gone on behind the scenes. Relates back to what tewkes was saying the other day (MM looking for managers behind GM back).

Tall sport put Di Canio down as a front runner... Not sure what the odds on that will be! Maybe a job for Curbs?...

I've seen lee Clark and mick McCarthy mentioned.

You'd assume it's too far from London for curbs.

Can't be many managers sacked after a derby win and with them third in the table it makes you think what do football managers have to do to keep their jobs these days

Nah. DW and CP play good football. Megson was a turd of a manager.

Morro like the man he is will be rising above this and getting on with his own successful season. I suspect he will allow himself a silent chuckle though!

Shocked and saddened by the news of this untimely departure...<laugh>

Difficult to decide which of the two, Megson or Mandaric, is the most loathsome.

Surely Megson will go to tribunal now?

I have it on good authority that Billy Davies will be taking over within 48 hours.

I have an intricate network of contacts ranging from Ponders End to Ulan Bator.

It is important to keep up with the progress of *****lia's *****ose racing season.

I cannot imagine Curbs stomaching the evil Mandaric. But Mandaric and Di Canio would be a good match. They have the same political views.

Good point, 4ever. Although I don't drink alcohol anymore, I would have joined you for a tomato juice.

Perhaps we can meet at Elland Road next season?
