O ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Capello is a bad manager. I never realised. I better tell that barcelona team his team spanked 4-0 in the final of the champions league......

    <doh>

You proved my point. England fans want attacking football. This high tempo bs amuses me. Have you ever seen England play high tempo and destroy a top side in a competitve match?

In fact, 5 points for the last time england beat a top side in a competitve match?

No Champions League experience. They should have made Gerrard captain.

Harry and Parker both lack European pedigree.

Imagine Italy picking a journeyman 30-year-old from Udinese to captain their country; and a manager who has won zero

  6. Jack Wiltshire tweated to say that he thought Scotty being made captain was a good move by Pearce. Or do you reckon that Wiltshire is talking bollocks?

Somebody who lets seven of his mates go to jail for ABH whilst getting off for acting in "self defence" is perfect captaincy material...

Do go away you know nothing cretin. First of all you prattle on about a holding, I.e. defensive midfield player, not having a killer pass & not scoring goals, then you pick on the only mistake Parker made all night. You really are just an ignorant twat!

In those closing minutes at 2-2, you need your captain to keep the side focused and see the game out...he didn't.

Wow - you're not bitter and twisted at all are you.

Why make someone a captain when they're part of a mid table declining side?

Making Gerrard captain would have really worked <doh> - he could have given the arm band to someone worthy when he was replaced in the first half for being ..... well, pretty crap.

To be fair, the goal was just **** luck. Took a massive deflection, or I'm sure Hart would have stopped it.

England are always average, at best! I didn't think Parker had a bad game at all. We were given a lesson in how to finish, although how Robben was allowed to run that far and score, I'm not sure...

England's first goal was a clear offside, so in truth England should have never even had the chance to comeback. Poor display apart from one or two.

Nope but his football was dull as anything and his organisation for the World Cup was appalling. Give me an average team that plays exciting football with players that feel privileged to for England than a slightly above average team that play defensive football and a team full of ****s who are more interested in how they can maximise the sponsorship deals they get as a result of being in the team. In short I'd rather be a Swansea fan than a Liverpool fan, even if it meant being Welsh!

I would just like to remind the goon that at international football matches they have a referee and 2 referee assistants. If it were offside one of them would have signalled the fact - that they didn't means it wasn't offside. watching TV replays will never change the fact that the goal was given, live with it.

It's all quite simple really, try reading the rule book.

True, it was offside. Remembering that we were playing the team who were world cup finalists a short time ago, for England, I don't think we played to badly. There were some encouraging performances - Sturridge looked dangerous, Welbeck, Richards looks like he may finally be maturing a bit. All in all, by England's standards, not too bad, IMO.

And if the linesman did his job properly then he would have called it offside. It was not even one of those tight calls.
