You can bet he's still watching not606 from his solitary confinement. But yeah it was kind of a shame that we couldn't give him the ridiculing he deserved.

It won't be long before he's created a new account though - I'm sure we'll recognise him, his poisonous style sticks out like a sore thumb <ok>

  4. While it was out of my hands since I don't see my precious Godson as frequently as I used to as when he was much younger and also because he has so many activities now but I do feel that with his grandad with whom he is very close and a very special aunt both supporting Arsenal, I had hoped too that he would grow up as a Young Gooner. Sadly he supports Liverpool!!!! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

At first we thought it might have been a thing of the moment but it's been that way since the 2008/09 season when they were runners up in the EPL and we picked up our usual 4th place.. No amount of trying seems to be able to do the trick either. I'm still tracking down the responsible party.

I read once, possibly in Merson's or Adams' autobiography, that Arsenal were 8/1 to win the league before the game and 16/1 to win 2-0 so a few of the players lumped on it.

Don't think there was a problem backing your own team to win in them days though clearly had they unloaded a wheelbarrow full of fifties and backed Liverpool one or two phone calls would have been made.
It's only been in recent years that all betting in the sport you are a professional is banned, maybe the late 90s...
