If I thought he believed this rubbish, I would be sure he'd never seen us play. Even Fergie acknowledges that we are the best to watch. But of course, he is trying to get a response. <yawnsmiley>

Maybe the same reason you've had, and rated, Chamakh for so long?

Except we dont rate him because his touch is woeful. He would be decent at a side that didnt play such slick football. He has atrributes which would make him shine at many epl clubs. Just not us. Try harder.

I think it's you lot that should try harder, the rubbish you've spent good money on. I particularly like the German donkey - shame he wasn't fit for Sunday, i'm sure Whinger would have played him <laugh>

No, you completely rely on a Dutch crock, who, just happens to be fit- at the moment. What will you do when he's inevitably injured again?

No you rely on a football team to have a good game to give you some vicarious balls so that you can crawl out from under your rock and spew out your sad little message.

Back on topic, Parker was man of the match in a game where England beat the current world champions. If Parker isn't world class, I wonder who it was who was giving the Spanish such a difficult time? He's also a great pick in terms of character, attitude, etc. I haven't rated Pearce in the past, but I give him credit for getting this one right. England isn't long on talent right now, the fans want a fresh start, and a team and captain they can be proud of, who'll play for the shirt, and Parker is the right man for that job.

i never understand simple football fans when they say things like..if you take out Modric..why the fuk would we take out Modric? he plays for us..part of our team..part of our strongest 11..so why would we take him out?? or did we stick Ronaldo in the team so you had to 'take him out' because he doesnt play for us?

i mean lets take RVP out of your team..really do that and lets debate...you got no fkin chance..regardless of the score on Sunday...you dont know your football pal.

and what makes you think your opinion is more valid than anybody elses when it comes to being an oracle?

you made that statement as though you have been following a succesful CL team and you know what it takes to win it......do you see how stupid your reamrks are and really you dont even have a debate..just Spurs fans putting you right with your constant drivel....how one match changes the your attitude on your crap team is beyond anybody...or are you now going to tell me that they are not rubbish?

im arrogant enough to say even though you beat us 5-2 that we are still the better team..infact i think your team is absolute rubbish..as the saying goes 'form goes out of the window in derby matches'..very true....your still crap..still a one man team..and still being shafted by your club by being made to be satisfied with qualifying for CL football..anything else is a bonus your club thinks it's fans dont deserve...we want to get back in because we want to compete with the best..you want to get in so that your chairmen can get richer...bought out..yet your gloating about one match??

trust me and most of the others..your team is rubbish...and RVP even knows it or he would have rushed and signed anew contract after Sunday's match..because he knows that your club is going the right way<laugh>

    Good choice for me<ok>

Centre mid, industrious, great example of a professional footballer who also leads by example.

Disappointed to sit here listening to them all bang on about how much of a snub it is to Gerrard than about a new direction for England.

some people struggle with change..thats why this nation as a footballing team are to put it bluntly...crap!

do they not understand that every one who is a neautral to a 'not botherd' are only taking this stance due to this draconian way of thinking...does the F.a not have a marketing manager?......Gerrard has had his chance to lead a bunch of grown men to victory in a football match...and under his 'captaincy' no trees were seen being uprooted!

  16. There were a couple of twats on TalkSport today holding a phone-in about Pearce's decision to appoint Scotty as captain, and their stance was that Pearce is a numpty for making Scotty captain and not Gerrard.

Callers comprised mainly sad Mousers and Villa fans calling in to agree with these tools.

You know what? I truly hope that Pearce succeeds as manager of England and is proven right to pick Scotty. I really couldn't care less if Gerrard plays for England again, as I think he's now very much overrated. He used to be good, but he's no longer world class. I like the team that Pearce has selected. It's got a nice balance and it is doing what people accused Capello of not doing, which is giving a chance to those players who have merited a call-up.

Some fans really should be put up against a wall and shot. It would be doing us all a favour, as well as raising the IQ in the general population by a couple of degrees.

Honestly this is terrible chat. England suck because they have very few top players. 1 outfielder imo now - Rooney. And he doesnt care about england and isnt one of the worlds greatest players anyway.

Look at the dutch front 4 of rvp, sneijder, robben and van der vaart. Or germany with goetze and ozil in attacking midfield. Or Argentina with messi, lavezzi, aguero. Or uraguay with cavani, forlan and suarez. Or france with nasri, benzema and ribery. Or brazil with......you get my point anyway.

England suck. It doesnt matter who the captain is. Englands best hope (as capeloo knew) is to play defensive and try and knick a win. But the fans and media wont accept that. So they demand england attack and get destroyed.

Capello is one of the best managers in histroy. Yet idiot england fans think he is a clown <doh>

BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson on Radio 5 live:

"I think the captaincy issue is a little bit strange, and I think Stuart Pearce could have just given it to Steven Gerrard until a new manager comes in.

"I think there's a massive load of fuss over it though. I think Gerrard will be disappointed because I do think he thought he would be captain, as we all did."
    ----------------------

I think he'll find "we all" didn't. See: several pundits and journalists praising the decision.

What are you on about? Honestly!

I think most England fans would rather that we play expansive attacking football and try to take the game to teams, in the traditional English high-tempo manner. Capello is considered a clown by most English fans for many reasons, not least of all because he played the same old tried-and-tired players, like Gerrard, Lampo and Cashley Cole, as well as players like Rooney, despite the fact that he wasn't playing on top of his form. But most of all, most fans didn't like Capello's dull defensive tactics, because they were anti-football, and not the English way.

Please, at least read back what you write before hitting the "reply" button <ok>

HIAG, it's easier just to stick him on ignore, he won't accept your point regardless of what you say.
