    Gerrard is starting tonight <ok>

    As for captaincy, i was hoping for hart! old head on young shoulders, would have been perfect candidate for it long term and proberbly still will be. Im sort of not suprised with parker getting it but would have had gerrard ahead of him personally

    I can't see why Holt wasn't picked, he's been awesome for you guys this season. He should be in for Wellbeck. It pisses me off that some players seem to be considered good enough for England just cos they play for United.

    Its not just a United thing, its a 'big club' thing. If Downing was at Norwich he wouldn't of even been considered, just as most of the squad wouldn't.

    ...if downing was a norwich player i would seriously consider supporting some other team. well, i wouldn't but you get my feelings about downing.
