Just for a bit of fun I thought I'd check the possible ups and downs from an upside-down perspective:

    Premier League:
Manchester United are already mathematically safe from relegation.
If results go against them, Wigan and Wolves could both be out of contention for the Champions League as early as next weekend.

    Championship
QPR are already safe. Norwich will maintain their Championship status if they beat Bristol City on Monday or if Scun.thorpe fail to beat Preston on Tuesday; a result that would also mean safety for Swansea.
Preston's Premier League dream is over as the playoffs are out of reach.

    League One
Brighton are safe from the drop, as will be Huddersfield if they can clinch a point against Brentford on Tuesday.
Plymouth's defeat at Hartlepool means they can forget about automatic promotion.

    League Two
Chesterfield are already assured of League status next season. Bury will be all but safe if they beat Torquay on Tuesday.
After being held by Burton yesterday, the playoffs is the best Stockport can hope for, with a top three spot now off the menu.

    Blue Square Prem
The Top four are all safe, whereas the bottom three can all forget about becoming league sides, as the playoffs are a mathematical no no.

mmmm I think I need to start taking the pills :emoticon-0125-mmm:

    No, I'm just a bit weird <laugh>

Q: Is the glass half full or half empty?
    A: Neither; it's too large! <whistle>

You can never have a glass that's too large! :)
