I must be a silly old sod,but I want to wish all our players away on international duty, all the best in their respective games, but, most of all, come back to the Stadium of Light fit and well.

This guys is what commitment is. I know many of you will not rate him or even knew about him at Blackburn but the New Zealand captain Ryan Nelsen certainly goes to show that there are still some REAL footballers out there, not just overpaid twats!

    Nelsen arrives just in time
He may have been the last one off the plane, but Captain Ryan Nelsen's easily slotted back into the All Whites ahead of their friendly against Jamaica this evening.

Nelsen's completed part one of his Amazing Race-style journey, arriving in Auckland last night (from London) for tonight's match (in Auckland, NZ).

He'll fly out tonight soon after the friendly back to White Hart Lane for Monday morning's Premier League match against Manchester United.............................
