Since David James has been at Bristol he has had a habit of gifting us goals so I'll go for a 3-2 win to us. Jamo to make at least one mad decision that lets us score!!

I'm sorry to say," I'm one of the eleven one4 ".....But here is something I wrote earlier..

' We are down there mate and deserve to be,we can turn it on but we can't keep it up,periods of the game we look so bloody good we start to think we are going to be ok,we even go 1 goal up then bang before you know it we are 3 down,we've had injuries, management changes, bad referees and some bad luck but I'm fed up of making excuses, but like all fans I still believe in my team and bloody love 'em,so I've got no excuses at all...'<ok>

    Too right SD

That was never a 3-0 game at their place! James had an absolute mare and gifted us 2 of those goals <ok> I expect them to show some real fight and it will not be an easy game!

He's about as confident as we are about staying up redprint.....
IMO the blame lies solely with the board for this mess

You should have sacked Millen a lot earlier as it was clear that he wasn't up to the job in the first place.

To be honest we aren't completely out of the brown stuff just yet! I wont breathe a sigh of relief until we hit 52 points! Another **** year of mediocrity and with Jewell as our manager and Clegg running the club I just cant wait for next season! <doh>

Didn't the exact same thing happen with Roy keane? hit the ground running for the first few months.. then slowly got worse week after week then you were in a relegation battle?

We dont like to talk about the Dark Lord over here in Suffolk! Under Keane it was the most boring, depressing, shambolic football I have ever had the misfortune to witness. We never conceded the amount of goals that we have shipped since this current clown has been in charge. Over 60 goals conceded this season and counting! Admittedly we have scored 57 goals which should be enough for a play-off spot! Under Keane we couldn't score and now we can't ****ing defend! <yikes>

Yeah but lucky for you, you went on a nice little run recently, 4 games winning i believe ? we would kill for that now 12 points and we could breathe a sigh of relief

Difference is Keane's anti-football philosophy meant we were set up not to concede goals. This led to a large number of boring draws and the inability to score or entertain the supporters. At least with Jewell we have a good attacking threat, although at times we can't defend for toffee. I have more belief in Jewells way of wanting us to play then RK's. With a couple of decent centre backs we could be a good side, not many in the league have scored more, or conceded more than us, so that tells you where we are lacking, and it's not with the front six.

I reckon the game on Saturday is an absolute must win for both teams, I just hope we don't get a nervy affair! After a winning run we then go on an even longer losing run! We lost 7 in a row before the 4 wins and so after our loss last weekend it will be either a heavy defeat or a big win! With Ipswich anything is possible! <laugh>

It got worse under Jewell believe me! We were 2-0 up against Reading with 10 minutes to go and we lost 3-2! <yikes> 1-0 Up against Leeds with 15 minutes to go and lost 3-1 <yikes> 2-0 Up against Blackpool with 15 minutes to go and drew 2-2! <yikes> I have lost count of the number of points we have thrown away from winning positions!

    '2-0 down with 10 minutes to go' - You're having a laugh.
More likely to be 2-0 down AFTER 10 minutes.
    Not defeatist just realistic.

    Sextone - Thanks.

I'd also throw the 3-2 defeat to Forest in there having led the match twice, and 2-1 up with less than 10 on the clock. I think we'll do enough to win this although Steady boy is probably going to score as we seem to let the 'old boys' come back and enjoy themselves. As for Keano, He started poorly (albeit after a successful 3 matches at the end of the season) picked up and then imploded, Jewell started well, dipped and has been a bit hit and miss since, there's no doubt Jewell has more of a footballing brain but then that's like saying Stephen fry probably has a higher IQ than David Beckham
