Big story yet it doesn't even make the front page of the DR website and takes backstage to Whyte Flees To Monaco and Celtic Refuse to Give Rangers 300k.
Wow. Hard to believe they would have struck such a weak deal and Whyte has essentially bumped them. I think. Shady ****in dealings and no mistake.
I would be very surprised if a company like that has been stroked like this. Looks like tabloid filler to me.
Around £6m...? As mentioned above, why isn't this exclusive the real front page news? Naw, instead it's all Timmy's fault over £300k!
It wouldn't be the first time that a company has been kippered by not appreciating that Scotland has a separate legal system.
All the stick Whyte gets and wait and you see the slippery wee rat pull this off. He's never more than a *** paper away from breaking the law.
He'll be getting hailed as a financial genius on FF, and Leggo will do an about turn and claim he knew all along. Poker player from the top drawer.
They've been doing deals with Rangers (and probably others in the SPL) for years so it would be highly unlikely. Even if the deal is reneged upon, I think it would be safe to assume that Ticketus will no longer do any business with Rangers in the future.
Rangers would argue that the deal was brokered with Whyte before he bought Rangers and is, therefore, bugger all to do with them.
Well if Whyte is the man who owes Ticketus the dough, he's hardly likely to walk away from Rangers and take the hit personally is he?
whyte to TU: I'm trying to take over Rangers. If you give me £25 mil I will give you X amount of season tickets. If the deal doesnt go through I will give you the £25 mil back. Deal went through, ticketus got their tickets. They own them
