It's good news he's on the road to recovery. Not sure how he'll fit in the squad though. Would he be in front of PB, JE and JH when fit? Not sure myself! But glad he up and running playing football.

For me his best position is in the middle, but his best hope of getting a game is out wide. If he performs there, he'll be moved inside soon enough.

Don't you just hate it when they only tell half a story?

Why was James replaced after only 26 minutes - was he injured? And who are Connolly and Akubuine - Academy kids?

And why is Michael Bryan still here - can't we give him to Wealdstone or somewhere similar? :)

BBC seem confident that all points will be wiped if Portsmouth don't finish the season. Not sure how that would affect us relative to teams above and below?

As far as i am aware we dont suffer much. We did not win anything from them, so we cant loose it.

It would have big impact at the top of the table. West Ham have taken six points from Pompey, whereas the so-and-so's drew the only game they've played so far.

At the bottom, Forest, Coventry, Brizzle and Donny have all taken fewer points against Portsmouth than we have.

this is the table as currently stands but with all the pompey results removed.

We are closer to relegation in points terms, but have actually climbed a place due to Ipswich dropping. We gain 'games in hand' over Cov, Donny, Bristol C and Forest. I reckon it would be fairly neutral for us.

But they have all yet to play them again. If Pompey go under, they will all have one less game to play. We, on the other hand, may lose three points - but will still have one more game than them to play. Swings and roundabouts really - as long as we take advantage of the 'extra' game.

The best bit is West Ham dropping out of the autos!
