It doesn't matter what anyone thinks about TP's ability as a manager or whether he has done a good job, excellent job or a terrible job for Stoke - the guy is a prize prick - FACT! Remarks like that are unecessary, disrespectful and arrogant beyond belief! Even the greatest regret when they overstep the mark and they all fall on their sword one day - and TP is NOT a great!
Its childish to look down your nose at hard working fans who probably work all year (in a low income area like S-O-T) to earn the same money he gets paid in a week - note I said paid and not earned! Earned is an interesting word, because it goes hand in hand with respect - something he hasn't quite grasped the concept off yet!
As always, you're entitled to your opinion, but I think your already out to get the guy, and will find fault in whatever he says.
I don't think TP does look down his nose at us, the fans. You've got to think, in these interviews, managers are pretty much fresh from the touch line, emotions still high, and have an journo basically baiting them to say something controversial, combine this with the fact that any professional will get pissed off with enthusiasts telling them how to do there job, and you're quite likely to get a snappy remark.
Some on here seem to seriously think that TP doesn't know how important the fans are to a club, doesn't want the club to do well, and doesn't know as much about his players who he sees train all the time, than us, who see them for 90/ 180 minutes a week.
The way people talk on here, you'd think Pulis couldn't manage to tie his shoes up, never mind manage a team. Some of you might have a cry because I'm about to use the words "Look where we are now", and I'm not saying no one else could have managed it, or proclaiming that Pulis is the messiah, but would we have got here if he was the ****ing idiot you lot all moan about? I for one, think not.
