Apparently their derby has been rescheduled 4 days before our cup tie.... This doesn't half help us against our nemesis team....(although i think that is quickly becoming West Brom) Anyway, hopefully they will be tired after this match as it probably is their biggest of the season, which will help us out!!!
The re-arranged date for Sunderland's league game at Blackburn has been confirmed. The Black Cats will now travel to Ewood Park on Tuesday 20th March, kick-off 8pm. A change was required as the original date for the fixture - three days previous - clashed with Sunderland's FA Cup with Budweiser quarter-final at Everton. Ticketing information for visiting supporters will be confirmed shortly on safc.com.
I'd have prefered it to be afterwards but more due to the fact that because of the nature of the game there will likely be injuries and/or sendings off rather than fatigue.Though if we win then confidence will go through the roof following into the Sunderland match.
