Can't see the point myself. We already have Pugh/White with Parker getting game time elsewhere. How many LBs or potential LBs do we need?
When will people have something positive to say? Parker did ok at Carlisle and scored his first goal, and he went for a month to help with his fitness. He is back to bolster the squad. Until Warnock actually says he wants Paul Robinson why bother discussing it as we know its nonsense, we won't pay him £25k a week to play for us.
Feel sorry for Parker. He was a better prospect than White was when he was 18/19. Unlucky for both him and the club, because if it wasn't for injuries, he'll probably be our first choice LB now. Has no future at the club anymore though. His contracts up at the end of the season, so I hope he finds a League 1 or 2 club and can get a run of games, injury free. Anyway, as for Robinson, I'd be against it. We have White/Pugh, and he's 33 now. But it's just press spectulation, like BillysStatue says, NW hasn't said he wants him. How many players do we get linked to that actually end up signing for us?
We certainly can't afford to carry crocks like Parker in our squad. Sad but I think he has had enough wages from us by now for doing nothing
Bolton left-back has joined, expect he will extend to end of season. Rachubka gone to Orient for a month.
Well this should be interesting. Put him on instead of that carthorse O'Dea and we should be keeping clean sheets left right and centre.
Hes a left back though Marko. Still see O'Dea in the middle with Lees, Pugh will probably rotate with Brown now
Well, I was wrong, he has now signed. So sad for Parker, he looked potential International at one stage, just shows how injuries can wreck you. However, two seasons at Lge One level and he may well reach his potential if he stays injury free and grows stronger.
Says he's capable of playing anywhere across the back line. Even so, if he does go in at left back I'd have Andy O'Brien in instead of O'Dea.
Well that is welcome news! That being said, Warnocks Leeds looks a lot less shakey at the back already, of course indivdual errors will still cost us until we get that extra bit of class in
I'm assuming from the hopeful air about this rumour before it happened that Robinson is that extra bit of class. Had plenty of other team fans saying we've "no chance" because he's "too class".
Looks positive, but who now plays wide left & who plays as DM on the left of midfield? I'd assumed that Pugh would play LB allowing Brown & Clayton to anchor the midfield & perm 2 from 4 (Snoddy, Sam, Rodgers, & Webber) out wide.
Quality signing. My only concern is how much he wants to play for us, didn't he want to stop in the Premiership? I'll trust NW to get the best out of him.
