Back to another topic...

Club Spokesman Jordan Sibley has just tweeted this on his Twitter account:

Have just had a sneak peak at next season's home shirt. Can't say anything about it, but reasons why will become obvious soon...

What on earth could he be hinting at?!

Hope it is back to stripes, but I feel another surprise coming...

Blue shirt, white shorts and red socks?! Oh sorry I thought I spotted "toilet" in the thread's title after "home". There must be something different about it to say this. Let's just hope that NC does not decide to take a Italian stance towards kits, I do not want pink away shirts with seventeen and a half sponsors.

I didn't realise people were so 'anti' this season's kit, I really like it! Having said that, I wouldn't complain about getting our traditional red and white stripes back. The new kit does also make the 'Red Army' chant a little redundant.

I think Lambden means that he agreed with you. As do I, nice to mark the occasion this year but would be gutted not to get the stripes back for next year!

Ta for that mate. Thought my grammar or tenses were wrong & being dopey i couldn't see it. Should wear my glasses more but if they are not hanging round my neck then I forget where I put them. Old age is cruel sometimes.

We should continue this trend of redesigning old kits. I would've loved a classic red-and-white-striped shirt with no sponsor. Shame :(

NC always said we would return to stripes this year. It makes financial sense as well. If a sponsor pays megabucks (hopefully) he wants to see it walk round town. Much as I like the sash, most people won't buy a new kit if the only difference is a logo. It has to make the sash look 'so last year'. I think people would be less ambivalent about the sash if we'd stormed the league in it. Deal probably includes add-ons depending on which league we're in, so lets get promoted early..no last days and no play-offs please.

My 11yr old daughter made me laugh the other day.....i was watching Stoke Vs West Ham in the cup.....she spotted and recognised kenwyn Jones and said "Does he only play for stripey teams Dad?" made me laugh when i explained that he played for Saints, Sunderland and Stoke and she then said "Stripey teams that begin with 'S' then"

I suppose she had a point.

I think the shock news is that we will have a red shirt with white stripes next season, rather than the traditional white shirt with red stripes. You heard it here first.

Hahahahahahaha!

I love this seasons kit and i think it was very fitting..... saying that....... I do miss the stripes!

COYRs!

I did think when I saw who the new sponsor was "How is that going show prominently on a stripy red and white?????" I guess they thought the same!
