Good post, you and Swansea had something we never had, that was a team ethic, that is why you are where you are.We still dont have that but thats not down to anyone at our club presently .Those in charge have done there best to keep us out of the s**t,unfortuntely I dont think it will be enough.Good luck for the rest of the season.

I'd agree but did you see the idiots off your board on here on Saturday? Were the situations reversed I wouldn't have dreamt of doing that. No supporters from other teams were on here apart from a couple of decent Fulham fans. I can't wait to see your team in the same straits.

You're only saying that in case they pop round and knock on your door! <laugh>

Agree entirely though. I don't get all the vitriol. I don't hate QPR at all. I'm old enough to have enjoyed the days of Bowles, Francis, Marsh and the like.

The power of the internet can do a lot to fuel hatred, to the point at which we're not even sure why we are doing it.

Let's hope all three promoted teams stay up, that would piss off more than a few pundits, I'm sure.

Good luck to Norwich and Swansea if they both stay up. I think it's fantastic for football to believe that whoever you support you can still dream of making it to the Prem. I spend too much time and emotion on QPR to worry about other clubs.
What Norwich achieved in succesive seasons was nothing short of fantastic.
Of course their fans will come on here and have a banter after what occurred in the last few games between us. So what?
It doesn't bother me that much if I'm honest. ( Except straight after a defeat. )
We give as good as we get anyway, it's just a little harder at the moment in our present predicament.
Hopefully we will stay up and get to play them next season, remember football is a fickle old game.
Good luck to both The Swans and Norwich, I wish them and their fans every success.

...after a 1-7 home defeat. You were circling the drain, you all know it, your CEO, "cracking" or not knew it, and took a chance on Lambert. Was this the same CEO and board that'd seen you relegated two divisions or were they all appointed after that match too? As for "seeing through" Fernandes, like Norwich post-Lambert, let's see what happens.

i know, i think its a bit of a vicious circle now, and IMHO Norwich fans should be aiming our 'i told you so' gloating at the so called pundits (and of course ipswich and colchester fans!) not you guys, and especially not while you've got problems enough to be dealing with.

A couple of your guys got caught up in the hype about QPR's new star signings, and there's clearly still a backlash to that now. It'll pass as will Norwich and Swansea's desire to rub doubters faces in their 'championship team's' success so far.

1st season up is a tense one all round, and everyone's fired up to defend their team to the death. If we both are here next year i hope that'll calm down a bit, so we can both relax and enjoy the ride a bit more.

No, the CEO, who is a big part of the driving force behind our success, inherited Gunn, and his first task was to get rid.

He did a stellar job. Of course Lambert will leave eventually, so what? Us fans will still be here, through thick and thin, as I'm sure will you lot. <ok>

Of course we will. And so will you guys obviously. Just hope when you do hit the thin you don't have the plums that we had off your board last Saturday kicking you when you're down.

I think the main reason that some Norwich fans rub people up the wrong way is that they always seem to be gloating and looking down their noses at us. Why spend time on our board? Answer? To wind us up.
    What goes around comes around!!

Plenty of people kicked us when we were down to the third tier, admittedly not from your boards. I never realised that Colchester and Ipswich had so many fans until then <laugh>

Just to cleea something up from an earlier post.
As for comas being banned from our board and our mods being trigger happy. He made insulting and offensive remaks, was asked to remove them, which in his defence he did, but then he carried on, from what I can gather.
He was not banned by one of our mods, but, I believe, by the site owner. Nothing to do with our mods whatsoever.

For the record, Comas was banned because he used a particularly offensive and racist term to accuse people of having Down's Syndrome.

The irony being he was probably one of the first to have a swing at Liverpool fans for racism...

for what its worth, at the start of the season, I like many others had high expectations for QPR but also would have bitten aybodys arm off for 17th spot thus securing a second season in the top flight. I would imagine, any other genuine fotie fan would wish th same for their side whether it be Swansea, Norwich (or any other) however out of the three promoted sides two out of the three have performed better than my team. Fortunes have been paid out on players that have not yet hit the heights expected, however, alot of this can be put down to the idiots that were in charge prior to TF taking over, and then it was a "Supermarket Sweep" to try to puchase players that could help keep the team up. Norwich and Swansea didn 't have these issues to contend with and their management and boards went on their business quietly and purhcashed players that would help improve the side. Under NW's management, he siad from the ff he needed to cretae two teams, one for the championsip, and one for the premiership but neither he nor us fans would have expected business people to flav and bernie to be so short sighted.

Now we get TF come in and he splashes he cash and immediately "everybody" jumps to the conclusion that QPR can buy their way to stay in the top flight. In my opinion, talent is one thing to hae, but heart, desire and application are also required otherwise you get nowhere. You also need the players to buy into what you actually want to achieve and at the moment that didn't happen for NW and so in came Hughes. To have one player sent off on is home debut is stupid however, Wolves did their homework on Cisses and knew he would react to that tyoe of challenge. Diakete, a Mali international wa daft to get sent off however he will learn. I wont say much about barton as that boy has disappointed since day one for me. What we don't seem to read about are players from Norwich and Swansea getting sent off and if we can sort that out we may be ok.

At this time, i cannot see TF walking away even though he has invested cash and is part of a consortium that had high hopes for QPR. Anyone that has followed the R's for yeas, fully knows that if there is an easy route or a more difficult route....we do difficult. I am getting banter from a hammer who say thanks for keeping their place warm in the top flight, but i do not think we are the worst side in the division and I would not be surprised to see somene like Villa get sucked into the struggle. QPR should have the quality to stay up and if we survive this season, then we will move on next year. If the contracts were drawn up propery, there will be a relegation clause in the salaries offered so I do not think we will go bust.

Hopefully next season we will still be playing the Swans and Norwich in the premier league...only time will tell

Oh jesus wept, I do worry about lots of folk on here. I hope QPR do ok this season, and in the position you're in, or rather the position Warnock left you in as he didn't have tactical skill for the PL, I can see entirely why hughes has gone for impact players, who can turn a game and get the wins you need. I don't get the argument that those signings are not building for the future, the first step is survival and take it from there.
