In some ways I agree with this, but I think you overstate it. Surely anyone who was willing to buy a season ticket off the back of the second half of last season (on and off the pitch) would buy a season ticket again, barring a change in their financial or geographic circumstances?

Sounds all positive stuff from him, and good that we seem to have such a good reputation, especially within a club as Man Utd.

As for a striker... I'm pretty sure that they are still looking to bring one in, but unfortunately it's not really that simple! You can imagine most of the talented strikers looking for loan moves would prefer to go to a club in the Championship that are in the top 8-10, pushing for promotion, so maybe it will take that little bit longer to convince them to come here!

Why this debate over a striker - it was not an either or was it? We are not at the limit of loans so that a keeper denies us a striker - have faith - if Dyche can find the right striker he surely will bring him in. It costs us only a salary and I disagree that it does not help Watford in the long term as if it helps restore confidence and ability to Loach who is still potentially a very good keeper then it helps us. As for crowds not coming to see a keeper that may be true although down the years Watford have boasted some excellent ones who have been great to see make fantastic saves - and crowds could drift away if we fall towards the relegation zone but if a point or two here and there help keep us closer to the pay offs it can do no harm.

For me this is a win-win-win

    I agree with you Leonardo.

Think of some of the special Goalies who have played for us in the past, Pat Jennings (our first Watford International), Bert Slater, Mickey Walker, Andy Rankin, Tony Coton, David James and more recently Ben Foster. They have always been good to watch and help give confidence to the team and supporters.

Heres to a few more clean sheets (that's a point before we even kick a ball)

Same question as the one I just posted about Trotta. OK I appreciate we lost and he let in three. Apart from that statistic how did our new loanee perform? Thanks in advance.

I dont think he did too badly after the mistake. He did collect every other ball and made a couple of decent saves after. I think we will see his true worth this weekend.

Agree with Dan. The reason he is getting criticised is because his error completely changed the game, but that goes with the territory as a keeper.

I don't approve of the treatment any of our keepers have received from the stands this season, but if there is any consolation it's that they are at least being treated consistently. Consistently badly, but consistently nonetheless.

i agree with you NNW, but as one who didn't criticise Scott, i did have to wonder, after that blunder, why we replaced him.
