I am pointing out that 1) You had more possession than us in the first 20. 2) It was meaningful possession Neither point to some different tactic, using exactly the same players as the Newcastle game, than you adopted against Arsenal. You just got battered, plain and simple.
from 0 to 2 0 spurs were winning a lot of tackles and 50\50s. Arsenal raised their game and got 5 unanswered, not much else to explain.
Anything else I dont understand? Sounds like you have accepted you were talking ****. I'll leave you with this. You pick a team and go out and win 5-0 - brilliant Spurs. You pick the same team and lose 5-2 - tactics by Spurs were wrong, not brilliant Arsenal. The key argument I heard today is that that Lennon would have made a difference. Made a big difference vs Newcastle didnt he ... oh wait you were 5-0 up when he came on with the same players that started against Arsenal.
This Guy^ Just confuses himself, cant keep track of more than two posts in reply, totally frazzled, few tins maybe to drown the sorrows? That why you are all over the shop?
I'm sure that there are plenty of things. Apparently you don't understand that somebody can pick the same team and use different tactics without changing the line up, for a start.
Still crying about me pointing out that you're a bit dim, BBF? It still amuses me that you were the one that did exactly what you're accusing me of, by the way.
I'm not saying they should happen, I'm saying they're unavoidable, which is why they happen all the time. Getting the ball has nothing to do with a dangerous challenge, hence why Parker got booked in the first place. It's not about your chance of getting the ball and I don't see why you think stepping on Vermaelen's foot is so dangerous.
Stating something doesn't make it true, unfortunately. Your constant claims that you're not a hypocrite clearly indicate this.
Having spent your entire time on this forum telling everyone that you don't agree with your manager and that he talks a load of bollocks, you're now asking me to accept something that ours has said as gospel, Jayram? Thanks for highlighting your own hypocrisy once again, though.
Except he was not talking about his system - he just said were too good no matter what system he could have adopted Here's another for you Hmmm.. doesnt sound like you even played the same way for 90 minutes but got outclassed in both halves. How could that be ? Kind of supports my view that tactics played no part - we just hammered you. Hopefully you are starting to see how patheitc is to claim tactics were the reason you got battered.
So you're ignoring my point about your obvious hypocrisy then, Jayram? Just like dear old Arsene, Redknapp's avoiding talking about his own mistakes and attributing a loss to something other than his own failures. You should be well aware of that media tactic, having moaned about it repeatedly for months, yet you feign ignorance of it here, for some reason.
You seem to be avoiding the point pretty well yourself there PNP. You played different systems through the game and nothing you did made a blind bit of difference - you got outclassed on the day. Systems had nothing to do with it. Arsenal were brilliant on the day and that was the reason for the result. Admit it and move on
Because both of the systems that we used were totally inappropriate and married with poor tactics. You also missed out one of Redknapp's quotes about how we'd performed taking the 2-0 lead, by the way. "We were hitting them on the counter-attack, but we were camping deep in our half and they were making opportunities." Wonder why? Redknapp made multiple mistakes and we paid the price for it.
There's no point arguing with him. It's not conceding you're wrong to ignore him and avoid a long drawn out discussion
