I really dont get some of the Spurs fans - I would have thought you would be keeping your mouths shut after such a humiliating defeat. Spurs have had the bragging rights all season - but for now it would be wiser to shut it as you're just making yourselves look bitter. The bragging rights are firmly with Arsenal until the day you are certain of finishing above us.
Not to Milan fans saying how they only won because we didnt play the right way We lost because they **** all over us - regardless of the way we played. Just like Arsenal **** all over Spurs on Sunday. Why dont you just accept the result on the day and accept the fact Arsenal were better? Why all the excuses?
There aren't any Milan fans on here, so you might find that a little difficult, though you clearly created an article bemoaning Wenger's tactics costing you the game. This is a cross-board thread, so it's not like anyone's seeking fans of another club out.
NSIS ..... Did i say i was trying to be funny ... merely pointing out some facts of life for you .. if the truth hurts you please dont show your soooo touchy when talking to the men its a bit silly really. now repeat after me ... we won the league ........ (in black and white etc etc) .. gotta luv em is it true your releasing a dvd of the match yesterday lasting 35 mins? ... now thats funny!!!
There's a difference - I dont try and take the credit away from other teams - even Spurs. I have been quite open about the fact that Spurs have been better than Arsenal this year, and even commented to some Arsenal fans droning on about history. Fact is, by trying to take credit away from Arsenal, you are coming across as very bitter and if anything it is just adding to the enjoyment of a wonderful day for Arsenal fans. You are making yourself look silly.
Do me a favour and read my posts properly you silly boy. I didn't say it wasn't a second booking, I said that it's a normal challenge. Players get their toes stepped on all the time. Parker was good enough to apologise and Vermaelen didn't accept it, which you defended because you seemed to think it was a particularly bad challenge, which it wasn't. I've watched the challenge again, since you've twice referred to him "sliding in" and I must admit Vermaelen didn't dither on the ball like I thought but I suggest you and Jayram watch it again too because Parker was on both feet and it wasn't some 10 yard lunge your esteemed accomplice thinks it was either. http://watchhighlightsonline.blogspot.com/2012/02/video-parker-red-card-vs-arsenal-parker.html
Your claims are identical to those being made by some Spurs fans. Poor tactics resulting in losses. Either both behaviours are wrong or neither are.
As I said before, I don't think we're being ungracious. It's merely that we have, all of us Spurs fans, managed to put our silly loss to AFC in its proper perspective. There's no harm in that. It was a blip, a slight flux in the North London Power-Shift. Nothing more. We're not bitter, at all. We are merely being realistic. Are you referring to St Arsehole's Day? That's the day on which it is mathematically impossible for you to finish above us.
Fair play to Parker for the apology, shows class and speaks volumes . Vermaelen was a tit for ignoring him.
Suggest you take your own advice on read - noone said it was a 10 yard lunge, but it was a 10 yard run up, in which he had plenty of time to realise he was getting nowhere near the ball. He decided to carry on and make the challenge at pace and force catching TV on the top of the foot. Nasty challenge and a deserved second yellow. There have been players sent off for less.
The difference is on a cross board thread about the game it comes across as bitter. Go and post about how **** you were and it being the only reason for the loss on a non Arsenal thread. Otherwise it comes across as tryng to take credit away from Arsenal.
Hm. I doubt you'd be much good on the comedy circuit. Best leave that to the professional comedians. Why not apply to a local circus to become a clown, instead? I'd say that was your ideal profession as you appear to already have quite a talent for it.
Nobody is disputing that you were the better team on the day. Where we disagree, is the reasons for that. In my opinion, those are, complete tactical balls -up...playing at least two blatantly unfit players..and, as I've said, worst of the lot, coming way behind in terms of work rate, intensity, and will to win!
If you were with your mate in the street and he got kicked and the person said "sorry I didnt mean it" you might see it as an accident and accept the apology. If the same person came along and kicked you 10 minutes later, would you accept his apology as good grace?
Little different as football involves contact, kicking someone in the street for no reason is a bit strange and is practially assault. Parker's job is to win the ball, he's not going to win it every single time.
