    Injury problems for Scotland too, with Blackpool winger Matt Phillips and Sunderland full-back Phil Bardsley withdrawing from the squad for Wednesday's friendly against Slovenia through injury.

    Mate said he was crocked this morning don't know anything else rumour or truth for that matter. Hope he's fit for Sunday and plays like he did against Arsenal in the cup and not the way he played against WBA in the league.

    Maybe just a muscle pull to keep him out of the Scotland friendly if you catch my drift, still think international friendlies are a waste of time.

    Shame if he misses the mags game but Gardner has proved he's more than capable at right back with Vaughan filling his void in midfield

    Now I may be a cynic Commachio, but I have my doubts. Its like Cisse withdrawing from Senegal squad with an "injury". I'm sure they'll both make a stunning recovery. I'm surprised Sessegnon hasn't found one to avoid a round the world trip.
