Always loved Naisy. Was chuffed to **** when he came back so well from his last injury.

You'd lost to Maribor, Malmo and Falkirk all before Naismith's injury.

point taken. But the chances of that being the case are fairly slim.

I still blame whittaker for that whole catastrophe but the fact we went out of these comps exposed whyte for what he is so maybe it was a blessing in disguise because we cant get rid of that **** quick enough

At the start of the season, on TF so you might have seen it, I said I was only interested in the League this season. As McCoists first season in charge I would have given him pass marks if he was there or thereabouts at the end of the season. Basically allowing him a year's experience as a platform to build on in subsequent seasons.

So in those terms I thought he had a great start to the season.

The loss of Naisy was a huge blow. We imploded after that dropping points almost every other week. Our midfield functioned around him and his high work rate. Yeah, we lost games, but compare that to the implosion after losing Naisy.

So let me get this straight. McCoist as manager at the start of the season for example, decided who he was able to bring in, and let go, based on the parameters of wage and transfer budget set by the board. And was quite happy to do so, seeing as that's his role as manager.

And now, McCoist as manager, doesn't want or feel it's his responsibility to decide who should be let go from the squad, based on the parameters of wage and budget set by the new board in charge, i.e. the administrators, as he doesn't think its part of his role as manager.

    Bullshit.

he's stated he doesnt want to be the person who tells someone he's lost his job.

I can see where he's coming from but he has to man up and get it done. I'm sure the players will find other work ffs, maybe not broadfoot

I can see his point on that Trev, as I know from experience it's a ****ing horrible thing to have to do. But he has 2 choices in my opinion.

Either like you say, man up, make the decisions and tell the players face to face himself.

Or take the sneaky route out, tell the administrators who he thinks should go, say the final say is up to them and leave it to them to tell the players who are getting let go. That way he doesn't look like the bad man in all this.

To say it's up to the admins completely to decide and give the news is a complete no-no.

I think it is the admins who will say who's going. If he says he doesn't fancy telling the players when it's not his decision then so what?

There's plenty of other stuff going on that ye could rip the pish out of and have a go at but this is just pathetic.
