No, that was because we clawed victory from the hands of a draw (yet) again after an average performance, keeping us well on course in the league. You lot in the other hand celebrated like you'd won the league because you were marginally better at not missing penalties against a championship side. It looked a little desperate to me.
You can only beat whats put in front of you, we also defeated Stoke, Chelsea and City (the team that beat your shower 6-1) on route to the final. So it would be fair to say we are deserved winners.

Cardiff would have been deserved winners too. Did I hear it right that 5 of their games in the CC went to extra time? To be fair to Liverpool, they put out a full strength team against Exeter City on Day One of the CC, and we were sending out the reserves against the likes of Leeds, Aldershot and Palace - so they were intent on winning the competition from the get go. As Pepe Reina said; 'it will be nice just to be playing in Europe again'.
To be honest I came on here last night to congratulate some of the Liverpool fans on here who I get on with but quickyl logged off when I saw some of them had decided to celebrate by telling us who **** we are and how are aren't going to win anything anymore. Seemed a bit odd some would celebrate that way so I left them to it. As has been said you can only beat what is infron of you so congrats on your trophy
