It is hard to argue with this, but I can't see it happening. Most managers would be to concerned about the repercussions if it didn’t work to be brave enough to try.
In these dark days for our club, TF sounds quite Churchillian:- "We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."
Ah, this Churchill you speak of... does he play football manager? Live anywhere near west London? What's the chances of him doing us a job defending our island till the end of the season?!
Failing that, could he fill in at centre-back? A fighter who talks of defence and strength in the air. Could be just what we need.
I'd be interested to hear what he thinks will happen to the players/manager should we get relegated. It's all good talking it up now but when the s*** hits the fan, tough decisions will need to be made.
I know that as the owner of said forum ... I'm confused why a Hull fan would post on our board Keep up mate
Ey? What forum are you talking about Cerny? Only the owner of the forum I used to post on shouldn't be confused about that.
