  2. Was watching Walker with interest today given the hype around him. I thought he was very naive defensively - often taking up the wrong position and going forward was also pretty dire. Will give him the benefit of the doubt and put it down to his injury, but on the evidence of today he's certainly not the real deal yet. Still young though.

YAY, you will finnish above Arsenal in the first time in 15 years, this won't be a common occurrence for you, LOL, and is that the best you can do? ending above Arsenal is the peak of success for you? HAHA and having said that this is your strongest team, and our weakest, and we spanked you, or actually F-CKED YOU 5-2, what will happen when we improve? :-D Love the Arsenal, the only team in London, the most successful team in London, the team that won the title at Sh!te hart lane not once, but twice, COMMON YOU GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You made us proud today by beating the wannabes, 5-2, GET IN THERE!

Your weakest team? Aside from perhaps Gibbs/Santos, Oxlaide-Chamberlain/Benayoun, it was your full strength side - it was arguably your strongest side for weeks.

And wasn't it your first victory over us in a while?

  11. I think he meant our weakest team in 15 years - plus we were without Wilshere, arguably our best player behind RVP.

Not our first victory over you in a while either - we beat you 4-1 last season. The year before that we beat you 3-0 in the league. Last 9 games the record is 3 wins, 3 draws, 3 losses (GD massively in favour of Arsenal)

I meant in general, not as in injuries etc, but the general strength of the squad we have at our disposal, we played a virtual full strength first 11 today, and this first 11 is by no means close to some of the great teams we have put out there in the last 10 years, and yet they still thoroughly tore you apart in a great football masterpiece, this was poetry attacking football at it's best, be a bit honest with yourself, how much better will we get when we make the needed improvements in the summer? And no, it's not been a 'while' since we beat you, we spanked you at WHL last season 4-1, :). and the season before that we spanked you 3-0, in a game that was somewhat similar to this as we scored 2 quick back to back goals near the end of the first half. And we didn't just beat you today, we DESTROYED YOU.

I swear I saw some stat before the game stating that Wenger had a recent poor record against Redknapp - it was on the BBC preview site before the game but they've removed it now.

  15. I thought after the fist 30 minutes our defending was excellent - especially from set plays. The amount of headers we won was way above the usual. I dont think it was just an attacking performance today - it was a all round team performance (althugh granted , not for the first 30 mins)

And that's why we are still 4th eh? ;). as for 'height' of achievements, tell me, what is the height of achievement for Spurs so far? LOL you spuds are so funny, stop talking and acting like you have gone on and won trophies or something, so look to yourself before you want to talk about the 'height' of achievements of other teams like Arsenal, who have reached heights you're team can only ever dream of.

He is a Manchester United fan. I know, its a bit weird that a Manchester United fan only posts on the Spurs board.

Unlike Vermaelen who did his best to ignore Parker's outstretched hand. Or the fan(s) who pelted the lino with coins after he gave the pen.

You know what I said in another thread about the result meaning Wenger has bought himself another season to wreck the squad by not addressing the obvious deficiencies it has? Posts like this underlines the reasons it will happen.

I think today's victory is just that, a victory. Nothing more, nothing less. We should take each game as it comes, forget looking too far into the future.
