ok from another discussion on here between me and AG I thought I would start a poll on who would most likely finish higher in the constructors championship. Im going for HRT based on I think Liuzzi is a more decent driver than Timo glock as he doesnt seem all the deal to me especially after his accident in Japan 2009. also I think they have a pretty decent package this year. AG and others are backing Virgin, possibly as they see Timo as good and d'Ambosio as a young talent. Maybe also because they were near enough on par with Lotus last year and hopefully they havnt made the design flaws they did last year. They also have greater backing to help develop over the year. ...I think thats a pretty fair account of the two teams so who do you think will finish higher? Best Regards El_Bando
I think HRT just because I think their car will be much faster this year (compared to last year) and as you say Liuzzi is a good enough driver for them imo
Well, without any evidence so far that the HRT stands a chance of getting off the line, I'm not convinced. I think with the 107% rule they will fail to qualify in Melbourne, but will scrape in to Sepang and then start to catch up with Virgin. I'm not entirely sure how you work out the best team without a point. All it takes is one massive collision in a wet race to give HRT a highly unlikely 10th, and thats the competition as good as over. However, barring a very strange race, I'm going with Virgin, and I reckon they'll be a second quicker than HRT in the opening races -at least. Everyone now thinking that Lotus have stepped up to be classed as slower midfield team now then?
I think Lotus are going to be stranded between Force India and Virgin. Never troubling FI and never troubled by Virgin. Could be a boring season for them.
AG That's probably a good shout. I'd like to see them mixing it up with some other teams though. Maybe a point for them from a wet race? I'd like to seem them beating Force India occasionally. Its interesting how FI are the only midfield team everyone seems to have decided on where they will be this season. I don't think anyone can tell between Williams, Toro Rosso and Sauber at the moment, or even if they'll be challenging Renault, and potentially Mclaren early on.

wow, a lot of people want a Virgin on top.... While I understand the appeal in Virgin's, their lack of experience could be a big problem.
Ha! Well, I'll defend myself first: I did not say I wanted Virgin on top; rather, I was trying to be objective about my expectations. But now that I've said that, I'll admit a preference for Virgin over HRT any day!
