Dont really know where to start but here goes. I obviously wanted us to win and glad we did but never took it for granted, your team did your club and yourselves proud, from your goalkeeper to your forwards your lads were superb, its a cruel way to lose any game on pens but a cup final is cruelest of all. I've had some good banter with you lads this week and gave and took stick, but would never gloat because our name never matched our performance on the day but your club can keep their heads held high because theirs did. Your loss was'nt down to Anthony Gerrard just like Steven was'nt the reason we won. Good Luck in your fight for promotion and i hope to see you lads at Anfield in the not to distant future. Pob lwk
Kind words Kopite. A huge performance by us though we rode our luck at times. A good advert for the Championship. The big one for us is the league and promotion. Hope this didn't take too much out of the legs as we've a big game next Sunday. It's on the BBC, tune in and give us a shout.
It would be nice to see you in the top flight in the next two seasons, as I think you will not go right back down again. I would not have been upset if you had won today, as you played so well. Good luck for the rest of the season!
Wassup lads. Watched the 2nd half and extra time. Your fans were amazing today and outsung the scousers at times. Your team did you proud and you could have won it in full time. You played so well, I even cheered (a little bit) when you equalised. Good luck for your promotion push ... you did Wales proud. Malky has a good team going there and you can still join us next year in 'the show'. Hope you enjoyed your day.
Banter aside you did a great job today and matched liverpool all over the pitch and you didnt get that little bit of luck that sometimes wins matches but you did yourselves proud and the fans were magnificent
Hard luck Cardiff - but you were magnificent today - very cruel way to lose a game but you can all hold your heads high. Now onwards and upwards to the important business of promotion; would love a Premier League derby (if we can stay up am also hoping you will join us). So good luck for the rest of your season; you have a manager and team to be proud of.
It's so great to see Liverpool and especially Swansea fans congratulating us!! It was a great day yet a kick in the gut when we equalised I was crying with joy...but it wasn't to be!!! I left there with my head high and hope this will kick us on for promotion Cymru am Byth
Credit where credit's due matey - Cardiff were superb today - nothing between the teams and you more than matched the Premier big boys! Hope this spurs you on to a big promotion push; you deserve to be in the top flight - hopefully there will be a Premier League Welsh derby next season - how f**kin exciting would that be!
Cheers guys for all the kind words and the great banter that has been had over the past week. It has been fun and i must say i was proud before i started to read these posts and i am even more so now. Good night and god bless all Well done to Liverpool today Again it just wasn't to be but we got closer. See you in May London!!
So proud to be a Bluebird today and so grateful to all these kind words. I only hope we keep our focus from here on in!!
So proud of the lads and it was hard to lose that way but I think the best team won on the day. Also like to thank the Swans fans and the Liverpool fans who took the time to commiserate with us on the result on not606 ............Cheers
I echo all these words from PMK. Also thanks to all of you who went for not booing Suarez. It does you great credit. Very best of luck with your promotion push and your forthcoming game against the hammers
though it was a great comeback and both teams gave it their all, you have to say liverpool deserved it, though it hurt alot, thats why 90% of the cardiff fans stayed to clap liverpool lifting the cup, a day that i can truly say i am proud of the players, memorable because of what happened on the pitch, and off it (i got to shake hands with both vincent tan and TG) and some of the performances from the cardiff lads surprised me, i thought some of them would be overawed (mason, heaton) but they had the game of their lives, well done
