O'Leary has so many horses for the festival...I think the Grand Annual would be perfect for him..fast run 2m and i'm convinced he will be better on good ground. Interesting to see what weight he gets and Irish Chasers have a terrible record in the h'caps at the festival.
Davy Russell 20-1 to be top jockey at the Festival...not the worst £5 worth of fun bet you could have
...I love it as well when Ted Walsh talks about "getting a couple of tears into him.."...and "the great big arse on the good jumpers.."..quality!
BRIGHT NEW DAWN 3.25 NAAS 20/1 E.W This one looks a very big price at 20/1 imo and for me it shows how highly he is regarded by connections for him to start his hurdling career in a grade 2. Gigginstown continue to fire in the winners and this horse displayed plenty of promise in 2 bumpers in December. Second behind a highly regarded horse from the Phillip Fenton stable on debut he followed that up with a fine 4th behind Thomas Edison at Leopardstown. Leading Champion Bumper hope Champagne Fever was 2nd and the 3rd horse The Mighty Milan has since won by 14 lengths. With improvement expected now tackling hurdles I am hoping for a big run.
Trappy little contest in Naas in the next. Felix Younger drifting I see, unusual for a Mullins horse. No bets but he could look a big enough price after the race I'm thinking...
