Personally I think our attacking play has been great, just a bit wasteful. Also I think Song needs to cover more for the defence, they've been in in shambles
On this has changed for us, we've really been up for this game. We have battled back superbly and deserved to take it to 2-2. Great header from Sagna and usual quality from the irrepressible RVP. Second half will be awesome!
An absolute joke of a performance.... This time not from Arsenal but from the ref. Bale is fast becoming the biggest cheat in football with his antics and yet gets a penalty for knocking the ball too far ahead of himself and diving. Gibbs gets kicked with Walker not even within a yard of the ball - no penalty Midfield and forward line have played well for us, but the defence is all over the place. Walcott needs to be taken off - we should have OX on, and Gervinho for Benayoun after 60 mins if we are not winning. Second half we need to tighten up defesively or we will concede again.

Decided to refrain from posting until half-time because I know how topsy-turvy a NL derby can be. Not happy with our defensive errors but you can't fault the way we've come back into it. Spurs have a much better bench, so I think that will decide it.
Exactly right - its 2-2 instead of 3-1 to us because the ref decided wrongly on both penalty incidents in favour of Spurs. Thats a two goal swing chalked up for the ref.
I think the scoreline is a good reflection of the match. Both sets of defenses have been dodgy to be honest so unless something doesn't tighten up second half, more goals should come. As for the penalties, the GIbbs one was not and the Bale one was touch and go. If Bale stood up he would have scored. We should be happy no card was issued and its all level. All to play second half.
It was a close call and in real time was too hard to decide. But its all level now so we need to battle on to win. Harry has shored up his midfield with Sandro and taken off Kranc for VDV. Interesting decision and change of formation it seems....
