According to Alan King both Grumeti and Balder Succes will take their chance in the Triumph Hurdle. I remember him saying a while back that he wouldn't recommend anybody taking the 6/1 about a King trained winner but anybody who did would be holding a handsome voucher now.

I have seen Tetlami tipped up in quite a few places which would be another string to the argument that he might shorten over the next few weeks.

That is a decent thread that and I might be forced to have a read when I get the time! I am a member of the OLBG forum but find the layout and fascia a bit 'tacky' shall we say (certainly in comparison to this forum)! <laugh>

I got the impression from Choc's interview with RUK that Grumeti was the horse for this season, whereas Balder Succes was more one for the future. Alan King seems to have suggested the same, originally stating that Balder Succes wouldn't even go to Cheltenham this year.

I'm not sure it is a question of who is better but who is ready. With that in mind I would have Grumeti at the top of the list.

<cheers> Zen, Thats what i was thinking especially that Choc has chosen to ride Grumeti. Balders Success did look impressive at Ascot, but Grumeti took to cheltenham on trials day like a fish to water, so come the Triumph I think my money (that was on Dildar :() will now be on Grumeti or Tetlami havent decided yet! As Tetlami is anohter horse I really like and rate (so do a few of you lookiing at above comments)

Balder Success 25/1 for the Supreme Novice on Betfair at the moment.

Notable market move for Sous Les Cieux also, who has hit 17/1, considerably shorter than the price he was earlier in the week.

I think you'll be struggling to back Tetlami in the Triumph Wooly. If you fancy him I recommend you back him for the Supreme on the Tuesday instead! <laugh>

Kingy says Balder Succes goes to the Triumph along with Grumeti. I noticed that with Sous Les Cieux too. There are clearly people out there keeping the faith. It will be interesting to see what Mullins has in mind for him.

Which horse was he talking about towards the end "One would think he'll be better as the ground gets drier in the spring. He looks the real deal."

With Fingal Bay out I'd say there'll be a few more like Simonsig and now try the Neptunes...Mullins seems sweet on Boston Bob so should be a cracker of a race.

The reason for Sous Les Criex shortening is that Ted Walsh give him a big shout in the Supremes on Channel 4 racing yesterday.
