Can't remember how many times I hve posted pleading for our management to demand that he never passes it more than 10 yards - the realty is that he is strong and committed but more of a combative athlete than a real footballer -our diemna is this - he is our most expensive purchase but how can we play him when Tunchev, Morgan, St Ledger and Bamba are all technically better and Mrgan and Bamba are far quicker and stronger ... Morgan was an absolute steal for the money ...
Shame if this is all true, i thought he was a good defender, yes his long balls were a total waste of time, but his defensive duties were top draw. With Wes coming in over the Jan window, something had to give, or something was already planned. Good to see that we can't guarantee Bamba back into the first 11 either, shows we have some top class centre backs atm, with or without Mills

I dont think Mills will go to Leeds. We want a club to cover all of his wages and Mills is on about 25-30K a week, i cant see Ken Bates paying that I cant see Ken Bates doing that. I heard a rumour Blackburn might be interested, with them losing Chris Samba outside of our transfer window they might be able to get permission off the premier league to sign a defender on loan

They're not going to get special dispensation from the Premier League, just to replace a player who wasn't even playing.
They might as he was a registered player, its doesnt matter weather he was playing or not. I dont think they will be its just a rumour, i reckon West Ham will show some interest. Because apart from them who can afford his wages?
He cant be 4th choice when he has played more games then any other centre half that we have this season. He may be frozen out at the minute but that dont make him a bad player. Everyone was saying how useless St. Ledger was and they was glad he was leaving and now they think he is brilliant. No one wanted Wes Morgan because he wasnt better then what we already had and people think he is brilliant aswell. We didnt know how we would cope with Bamba going to the ACON and when Mills and St. Ledger was playing together people was saying they are our best defenders and we dont need Bamba as badly as they thought. Weather you think he was worth it or not the club paid 4M for Matt Mills, thats not his fault we paid so much. People was expecting him to be brilliant every week and he when he made some mistakes everyone was quick to get on his back because we paid so much, it was like he wasnt allowed to make mistakes. Rumours of a bust up between Nigel and Mills probaly are accurate but Nigel has said in public Mills still might have a future. He said "you will have to wait and see depends" Thats suggest Mills could still have role but maybe he needs to do a bit of grovelling and get his head down. He should copy what Sean St. Ledger did because he didnt cry about it, he keep his head down and worked himself back into the fold. Apparently Mills doesnt want to leave so he might just do that
