I've heard from an agent mate of mine that Ballack is gagging to sign too. The only stumbling block is future signings and if he can cope with the expectations of MH ambition... apparently Gerrard, Nasri, Lampard and Rolaldo are also gagging to sign too so he is concerned he isn't going to be the first name on the term sheet.
