Two very good reasons to back AWARD WINNER 9-2 4.25 Towcester. 1, is that is back around the mark it usually wins off, how nice of Mr Handicapper, and 2, AP McCoy is back on board. Looks sure to be punted and can win mith minimal fuss.

I see Ferguson has a couple of his nice novices out tomorrow. ASAID will relish the Towcester hill and although I was dissapointed with CREEKSIDE last time out the form has since received a very nice compliment with Red Inca fairly trotting up (as advised by yours truly LMAO).

Asaid will surely win, but I fancy taking Creekside on. I also feel like taking all shortish price shots on for the rest of the card at Towcester.

Should be a jolly good day out.

    Oscar Davy

Ran into a useful sort at Exeter last time and is worth another chance to make up for his final-flight fall at Carlisle.

    Barbers Shop

It was back in 2009 that BARBERS SHOP finished third in the King George won by Kauto Star and he landed his first success under Rules since December 2008 when easily landing a Fakenham hunter chase earlier this month. This is tougher for the Royal runner but he will be hard to beat at this level if retaining a reasonable proportion of his previous ability

Using Gullinbursti as a yardstick this one would have about two stone in hand over African Broadway

    3.25 Naas

    Joxer 6/1

I fancy Billy Harney's 5 year old to run a big race tomorrow in what looks a much easier race than he disappointed in LTO. After being successful on debut in a bumper, Joxer ran into the very talented Moscow Mannon on his 2nd start in that sphere to be beaten by 4.75L. Moscow Mannon has won again impressively since and is the favourite for the Cheltenham Bumper (I fancy him to with that a lot myself) and he certainly lost nothing in defeat that day. After this Joxer made his hurdling debut at the Leopardstown Festival back in December where he was a rather impressive 0.5L beaten 2nd to Midnight Game, who had already had 2 starts in that sphere. Midnight Game has boosted that form, beating the very solid yardstick Dylan Ross and he is now a leading contender for the Supreme Novices.

2 starts back Joxer was successful on his 2nd hurdles start beating Allure of Illusion by 1L, with the front two drawing well clear. That rival brought some very solid bumper form to the table and I think he has an outside squeak in the Supreme at Cheltenham as well. On his final start Joxer was stepped into Grade 2 company for the first time and was a disappointingly well beaten 4th. Although he made a mistake 3 out that cost him a lot of momentum, he would never have gotten close to the winner Trifolium (my main fancy for the Supreme).

Tomorrow Joxer stays in a Grade 2 race but I think it represents far easier a task than his last assignment. I couldn't touch current favourite Felix Yonger as I think that he hasn't really beaten much in his starts to date, and I have similar concerns about Touch Back also. I see Texas Jack as the main rival tomorrow, but his best form is over 20f and he will have to be pretty good beating Joxer over 2m. Tomorrow the slightly better ground may suit Joxer and if bouncing back from his poor effort LTO I think he could be very hard to beat. I can't see him out of the first 3 and think he represents an e/w bet to nothing but I am rather hopeful he can win this tomorrow.

I like Stick am very interested in the Ferguson pair tomorrow. I put up Asaid the last day when he was a very eye catching 4th in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown as he stayed on from a mile back and Towcester's stiff track looks sure to suit. If he's close enough to evens tomorrow I may well lump on as he really needs to be winning tomorrow to have any chance at Cheltenham. Creekside was rather disappointing LTO and I did my nuts on him but it may not have been as bad as it first seems with Red Inca winning. I won't be overly keen taking too short a price about him though so I'll see what price he is in the morning before deciding.

Plenty of money about early doors for Colin Tizzard's Third Intention in the Grade 2 National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell (3.40). 2/1 is now the best price available.

Stable form has to be a worry Wooly - Hobbs has now had just 1 winner in 44 in the last 14 days. Nigel Twiston-Davies is also noticeably out of form - 1 winner in 40 in the last 14 days and Frascati Park ran like a pig yesterday. Henderson, Pipe, King and McCain are the hot yards at the moment.
