He is no different now till he was back then,he says subtle, nasty little remarks between the lines about our club,it's fans, our songs and then he wraps them up in cliches... * He calls some of our fans bigots.. * They sing a silly little song.. * He doesn't care.. * He was once attacked on the pitch because he was nasty.. * He used to celebrate a little bit.. * The Bristol City lot.. * They've got a new bloke (Mcinnes) trying to sort it out.. He has insulted some of our fans, their songs, our manager and club, obviously he is an ex "gashead " and has had some success but he is still a complete arse-hole. I for one wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.. I have bullet pointed what he said, his complete article is below and yes call me biased...Up the City.. http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/s.../walk_down_memory_lane_for_holloway_1_4286531
I can't believe the City supporters that go on about what a great guy he is. I've always found him a nasty little manipulative carrot crunching clown and one day he'll get the sack from Blackpool just like all the other clubs that have kicked him out.
Que all the Holloway lovers who will tell us what a great funny bloke he is! (I see bumbling embarrassing idiot) and how he regrets saying the things he said about us so long ago! (I know he doesn't and he hates us!) And Que all the gas heads who will also be on to defend him conveniently forgetting how they drove him out of their club with levels of abuse beyond comprehension for a player they now apparently hero worship?
Form an orderly queue please... Jim Chappell, chairman of the Bristol Rovers supporters club said the club must have been in a difficult position when they made the decision: "I suppose in many clubs he would have gone a long time ago because of results, but because of his unique relationship with the club and the fact that he is a fan held him in good steed. "There have been a lot of people calling for his head in the press over recent weeks, with just five victories in 24 matches and yet to win at home the supporters have made it clear he should be axed. Holloway has suffered unmerciful abuse from large sections of the home fans but handled the occasion well, the whole affair has left a bitter taste." he added. Mr Chappell went on to say part of the problem was their neighbours doing so well: "I think there is a lot of pressure, with City doing well at the moment, and I think that puts more pressure on the supporters." Holloway will be remembered as a totally committed manager who balanced the books, The club are currently one place above the relegation zone following a dire five-week spell in which they have failed to win a game or score a single goal. Holloway could not deliver the ultimate goal.
Harsh wiz very harsh, sat in the dolman reading his article nothing nasty or sinister from olly. Love to take the points, but can only see one result. Blackpool to win.
Well u lot might hate Ollie but the fact of the matter is he's achieved more with his current employer than any of the drop kick journeymen City have brought in since the 70s. A sobering thought.
did you hear him last night on twentyman? he was very respectful towards your club. he praised your manager and your chairman. he wants both sides to do well as he is 1st a bristolian. when asked if he would take the city job if the job was available and if he was available, he said he wouldnt take it as he feels your fans wouldnt have enough patience if things werent working out straight away. he feels you lot wouldnt give him a fair crack.
Cjs I think a small minority might not like it,but I have spoken and listened to many city fans and many of us would have no problem with olly at the helm. Blackpool look a good solid football club under him, second half we just could not handle them. He has done a excellent job at the seasiders.
No I think he is an even bigger TWAT........He is just a winning twat today.....Don't forget you lot got rid of him.....
Hollowhead got us relegated to the third tier for the first time in our history, nuff said! You guys hang in there you're better than him
Bloody hell Wize what bought on this outburst? At first glance I thought it was sour grapes after Ollies team wolloped you on your own turf but then noticed you posted it well before KO. I read the article and to be honest anyone can nit pick and read into it what they will. That goes for pretty much any publication ever as it's a matter of perception and everyones is different. I've always been a big fan of Ollie and keep an eye on his career. Over the last few years, several years in fact, he's been very professional and showed nothing less than total respect for your club in fact sometimes he's said things that a true Gashead wouldn't say. Some of your posts over the last few weeks have become, dare I say, a tab bitter. Sure you must be feeling frustrated but try not to let things effect your usual good nature and level headed posts.
Thanks for your very well thought out advice, you make some good points,it's a shame cjs is laughing his bolicks off at you (according to his smilie) he normally follows you around like your shadow and agree's with everything you say.
