Any time mate, had a sneaky feeling that he'd love the flat track because he's a bloody strong traveller. Had them all ****ting themselves 3 out. I had to take my time to make a decision on him but having watched his weakening at Cheltenham very closely last time, it was clear his action had deteriorated whereas today he had no such problems and won well indeed. Delighted with his price to be fair. Also me and RV when we fancy horses, we tend to be of different opinions (in a good way), so I was quite happy to see RV so sweet on the horse as well
Boom WALES YYYEEEEEEHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Lovely day's punting! Don't dismiss Minsk either fellas, after all it is only his first run over hurdles and he's only been beaten a neck! The festival will really suit him and he's now a lovely price. There's a lot more to come from this one Hopefully the Pool will cap of a lovely weekend tomorrow
Cheers Chippy Much tighter match than I expected though! God reading my message back makes me sound like those annoying people on here that come on at the end of the day blowing about their winners, you know the sort
I think his style is not suited to the Triumph. I personally think he is a chaser in the making from what I have seen. Beautiful, rhythmical action and a real scopey horse. Reminds me a lot of Nacarat the way he goes about things. He's only a baby as well so he needs time to progress and flourish. Lovely animal. I think he will travel well in the Triumph but the Triumph tends to be won by horses who can really come on strongly up the hill. Pearl Swan would be one such horse, and his price now suggests he will take that route rather than the Supreme. Interesting to see what PN does with the Supreme, he hardly looks mob-handed.
Sounding like he will run Pearl Swan and Ranjaan in the Triumph. Both Dildar and Dodging Bullets will miss the Festival and Hinterland's target to be decided. He was pencilled in for the Fred Winter but I think the exploits of Baby Mix today, who beat him 7 lengths getting 7lbs, might have persuaded him to reconsider. I think he deserves his shot at the Triumph and think he along with Hollow Tree might be underestimated. Both will appreciate the test it will surely provide.
Well done Oddy...nice return. Wales weren't great Beefy but as we suspected they won. Really shows how crap we have become that the post match analysis focused on how well we played in defeat! I'm a realist and take few positives from getting beaten by a Welsh team who played moderately and succumbed to a yellow card at the start of the second half. Not to worry..silk purse sows ear job.
Evening gays ****ing livid 2-0 up at home to Wolves and end up drawing 2-2 - seriously poor effort. Pardew hasn't got a clue takes off our best player guthrie a pile of **** when he came on and so was HBA ****ing pile of **** alll forgiven if we beat them SMB's
RV, have a chuckle at us later on MOTD, had another new signing sent off and SWP puts in a real contender for "miss of the season"
I see Baby Mix won - forgot to back it before heading up to the stadium at least the rest were ****e - watch that Tom George one that fell next time though he knows the score
