Being rumoured that Rangers are almost out of money and cannot get a hold of the £6.5m that's sitting in the bank account of Whyte's lawyers. Seems it's a case of when, not if.
not sure but as far as i am aware if a company cannot meet its running costs while in admin it has to be liquidated. i wouldexpect to see some players leave after tuesday. all salaries are paid until the end of Feb, once Feb is over there will be a cull
Ah sad, so sad. But it could be worse, all the directors and fans who have broken the law over the last 15 years could be sent to that holding place in Cuba for an open ended period.
It's only last week that the administrators were saying that liquidation was unlikely. Mind you, they were probably expecting the Ticketus money and the Jelavic money to be available. Seems like Whyte's stiffed them on both of those incomes and probably a lot more besides.
Hearing all sorts at the moment. Difficult to tell the wheat from the chaff. I guess we'll know when the administrators tell us.
They just walked in the door and made these proclamations before opening a single folder. Liquidation is the aim. Always has been. If it wasn't why did shooter make no effort at all to stop this happening?
No one's going to buy Rangers while: - The £49m big tax bill is hanging over the club - Millions are unaccounted for (sitting in Whyte's lawyers bank account or in his Cayman Islands bank account)
And while running costs are £3.5m a month and no chance of European football to add some cash to the coffers. Things look bleak and I don't see any multi millionaire throwing good money after bad to save Rangers even if he is a fan. Any potential buyer never became as rich (as he needs to be) by trying to refloat a sinking ship.
