The last time that happened, you lost 7-1 in the return fixture ;)

I do not think 7:1 was the plan last time either. I read Graham Taylor said he would have been happy with a 1:0 win, I think all the Watford fans would accept that today.

Personally I'd rather a 7-0 win - don't want a repeat of us scoring their goal for them. ;)

The morning of the big game and am really p*ssed off that I couldn't buy a ticket because the Hornets are frightened to let us have the 4000 or 5000 we needed for a reasonably local away game for me up here in the East Mids
Still have to huddle round the Internet instead

We're not frightened, our away section only holds 2,000.

We could just give the away fans the whole Vicarage Road end, but we'd have to move season ticket holders. I would still do it anyway, for the sake of money. We could fit them into the other 2 stands easily.

Its nothing to do with being frightened. Its more the fact that every time we give away the extra 2500 seats, we have to find space for those 2000+ fans. We dont always have room for them, especially for games like this. I have had to move seats 3 times this season and am sick of it. I go to matches with 8 others, so it is very rare we can find 9 seats together.

Why should i give up my seat for the 4th time so that one of you Saints fans can come and watch one match a year??

We used to be really relaxed about away fans in certain parts of the home end. Convince QPR and the FA to hunt down and prosecute the scum that forced us to change our minds, and maybe next time you'll get a ticket. <ok>

What I see is the real fans of a team will follow their team and might make little complaints or be happy when the team does well. The new fans a team gets when they do well and will leave when a team is doing badly or even stays level are the ones that cause the problems. There are the scales so a team with Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester Uniteds supporters will have more halfwits and after teams like Nottingham Forest, who only won the Europeean Championship feels like last year and still want to be the top dog when they are not, or Millwall whos fans generally need burning.

would it be a better idea to not allow season ticket holders to sit in that stand? so when teams need a bigger allocation nobody has to be moved.

saying that, there's probably a viable reason why what i just said wouldn't work and it's just a shame that morons make it so away supporters can sit with home supporters with there silly behaviour. <wah>

You Watford fans are the most optimistic fans I've ever seen.

    Good luck for today

while we have only 3 stands, we don't have a lot of choice...hopefully, eventually things will be different!

    It'll be a tight game.

I don't think it'll be huge like last weekend.

But these are game we need to win if we want to get promoted!
