Should be another good move for him.

'Boro play some decent football which will suit Jonjo and they are challenging for promotion to the Premier League. Hope it goes well for him.

Bit surprised at that actually but good luck to the lad <ok> didn't seem to do him any harm before.

Well there's no point of him rotting in reserves but I think he could do well at a lower Premiership club. Frimpong is out for the season for Wolves so why not them? Or Bolton? Ah well, I'm sure it'll do the lad good

He might get more confidence from playing with a team that's challenging for promotion though rather than one fighting relegation <ok>

He certainly seemed more positive after his spell at Blackpool who are another good attacking team <ok> He's only a lad so to be getting regular first team football at that level is pretty impressive and will help him improve hopefully.

I think he has a chance of more first team footy over the next couple of seasons, the loan will be good for him.

Really do rate him as part of the future for this club. All the best to him on his loan move.

I don't think he needs another loan spell - He looked ready if you ask me.

I thought the main reason we recalled him was for extra cover in midfield because Lucas got injured - if that's the case it seems strange to loan him straight back out.

When he played last year he was rather lost, running about like a headless chicken and misplacing passes. The loan to Blackpool obviously did him a world of good and he looked much more composed on the ball. He played more offensively and didn't make panicked decisions in the few appearances this season.

However he did show some signs of the pre-loan Shelvey, such as his positioning, so maybe this loan is for progressing his attacking development. .

Best of luck to the lad.

I think he's ready and I would have him in the team before Adam or Henderson but the loan won't do him any harm and hopefully when he get's back he can get into the team because if he's still on the bench next season he will be off for good and there will be plenty of takers.

Better out on loan playing regular games than at LFC playing here and there.

    Future team maybe:

    -----------------Reina------------------
    -Kelly----Skrtel-----Agger---Enrique-
    -----------Lucas----Henderson--------
    -------------Shelvey-------------------
    --Sterling-------------Suarez---------
    ------------Carroll---------------------

    Or

    Flanagan--Kelly--Coates--Robinson

I feel Shelvey's future is bright.

Plus with Henderson, Carroll and Downing here, he needs to get used to that North Eastern accent.
