You're the team Liverpool aspire to be. Why do you think they pay Comolli so much? <laugh>

So true. The scousers demise was as swift as it was unexpected. Can anyone identify the reason why the scousers have been overtaken by the likes of spurs and Newcastle? How did they fall out of the top four?

    Which time?

Initially it was because Dalglish realised that, after the successful team he had inherited had reached it's sell by date, he could either carry on signing players like David Speedie or do a runner so he did a runner. Then it was because the likes of Souness and Evans were entrusted with taking Liverpool back to the greatness they so rightfully deserved but weren't able to do so because they were both ****ing hopeless. Houllier won the real treble and then went mad. Rafa won the European Cup and then went mad. Fact. Hodgson wasn't given the funds or time to fix the unholy mess that the lunatic Benitez had left behind and since then KKK has spent £100million on maintaining Liverpool's new rightful position of 7th.

Two decades of Liverpool Football Club in 200 words or less. Surely that's worth a minute's silence at the next home game.

I like the fact you can comment on FFP and genuinely not have to worry - I mean, you're now bringing old players out of retirment because you can't/don't want to spend the money. Who next. Hughes, Pallister or Viv Anderson? This is why the FFP won't affect you lot LMAO

FFP has really gone over your head hasn't it? It will actually be beneficial to your club as, despite two decades of relative failure, you still have the 80's glory hunting generation and some of their kids to fall back on. The likes of City and Chelsea though will have to engineer pockets of revenue.

With their club being dragged into the mud by Suarez who they really cling to you 'almost' feel sorry for them. Then you have the fact that they have never even won the premiership once even though one of heir ******ed fans still proclaim them to be the most successful club in English football.

I read one of these ******s saying that the champions league needs them!!! Well in that case this need will be unmet for decades because I cannot see the poor scousers getting into the top four in that time, certainly not under the management of Dalglish the buffoon.

now that the scousers have won the most prestigious title in the domestic calendar they now proclaim they cannot be bothered or should not be with the champions league.

One of their ******s said that they should **** the CL and focus on the domestic cups like the carling. With that attitude no wonder they haven't won the premiership title even once.

Tell me more about Viv Anderson and where SAF can get hold of him, we need another defender or 2, im sure his Afro will save a few goals.

Look on the bright side UTD have more ££££ to spend than the Dippers who have spent it all on average players.

What ever way you cut it you are bleating on about yeah, you know it, History. 2nd in the EL and out of all other comps, not bad but I hardly envy United plus your predicament will just worsen next year.

Besides, 18 v 19 3 v 5, come back when? many less euro trophies and 1 more league<doh> sorry but you talk like its 49 and not 1 title in the difference

0 trophies this year so far also

<laugh>.... Many less Euro titles ? that will be two but many makes it sound better <ok> You must only be talking about CLs seeming as you have disregarded the Europa league by claiming United are out of everything else.

How is it going to get worse next year exactly ? One thing is for sure, I'd rather be in our position than yours <ok>

Bless Liverpool fans ' 0 trophies this year' for **** sake you have won the Carling Cup' that's it, one Carling Cup in 6 years ! Everyone bow down to the mighty Liverpool <whistle>

I'd still rather be in our position than yours. After all, as many of your fans keep pointing out, FSG have only spent money that they saved by cutting the wage bill. With no more deadwood to trim, I can't see you spending enough to overtake Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea next season. After all, you still can't scrape together enough cash to build a new stadium.

I'm sure a fan who's been obsessed with Utd since 1973 will be able to tell me...when's the last time Liverpool finished outside the top 5 four seasons in a row? <whistle>

FFP Man UTD will benefit from this immensly, by basically having **** loads more money to spend than enyone else, are disposable income will trounce the nearest competitor, probably Arsenal
