You really do not know how to put across a fair and reasonable argument, and resort to shouting (CAPS) <doh>

As much as I want to rise to the bait, and answer back, I'm going to refrain from doing so.

It is just away of motivating Watford, the poor yet plucky and spirited team against those snooty rich emotionally unattached opposition. Plus if they lose then Dyche can say that if they had the same money they could compete etc.

Note to other Clubs - this attitude is not one held by other saints fans. Don't judge all Saints fans by these comments.

that annoys me greatly... managers who say ''Manchester city's team is worth hundreds of millions and ours isn't bla bla bla'' before matches. It's making excuses is what it is, and based on nothing factual. This assumption that we've spent 'Leicester money' is a dumb stigma that has seen us not get half the credit we should for where we are. Adkins has done a brilliant job, the team have done so well and yet ill qualified people like Sean Dyche throw up these silly comments about how rich we are.

we're second on merit, and we're not buying the league. Maybe Sean Dyche should focus on his own team instead of commenting on what he thinks of our financial position, he should focus on his clubs less than impressive league position perhaps.

And maybe Watford fans should show us some respect too!

I think he has only used a similar line once this season and that was against West Ham, when one of their players on the bench earns as much as our entire team.

Respect for the football club of SFC, not me, I couldn't give a darn about whether you respect me.

Then you might want to see the predictions of 99% of the Watford fans. We have all said it will be a close match and a lot of us have predicted a Saints win. Now if thats not respect i dont know what is.

Its you and one or two others who have said it will be an easy match, not us!! We are gearing up for a scrap.

Shall we start by slagging off your manager then?

close? I don't think you quite realise what you're up against.

and ''my name is D''? start by respecting the squad we have and the position we're in, and that it will be VERY TOUGH for you.

No one doubts Southampton's abilities. It will be a tough game, but that doesn't give you the excuse to act like a total twat.

That's just it though, he is only one tool. Just one. He doesn't represent us, and a good handful of my fellow Saints fans have gone out of their way to distance themselves from him.

Please don't let them cloud any opinion, positive or negative, which you may have of my football club.

To all Watford fans on here.... remember the good bnter we had before the last fixture? Good fun. Unfortunately we have picked up one ot two since then who can stay up late and contribute to this forum.

I have huge respect fro Watford and their fans. They continue to outperform expectations every season on a very small budget. Excellent.

I wouldn't be such a twat if your clubs manager wasn't such a condescending little tosspot.

We are up against 11 men. As any football fan knows, anything can happen. Leicester came down 2 weeks ago and thought it would be a cake walk, leeds did the same, as did cardiff and so did Tottenham. All of them admit that it was tougher than they expected and Harry Redknapp said that we were unlucky.

We are also ahead of you in the form guide,
    Pos,.. Team.......Last 6 home, Last 6 away
    9... Watford...... DDWLWW .... DLLWDL
    10 Southampton WLLDWW ......LDLWDD

We have only lost 1/6 at home, you have only won 1/6 away from home. So i suggest you get off your high horse, take your head out of your arse and respect the game for what it is.

Thanks, our away record doesn't look half bad when it put it like that! (Just two away wins in the league since August, and they were against Forest and Coventry!)

But, considering you are promotion contenders, one win in the last 6 is not a great record. However, i still predict a tough, hard fought match. The only reason i have not predicted a Saints win, is because i could not bring myself too.
